Madrid Hotels with Swimming Pools

The hotel’s location was very convenient, the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The downside was that the room was very basic and small. The bathroom was average even though the shower was very nice. The general facilities lack amplitude. The size of the pool is really small. It is like a kid’s pool. The gym is very small as well. Overall, it is a good hotel but its facilities could be better.

It remains very well in its segment. Dedicated team. Attention to details. Breakfast is improving quite a bit.

2 nights there. Very nice checking, eye-contact, body language, speech, correct approaching and fast. I felt welcome. The hotel: I loved the kind like dark-atmosphere, it's not a sun-like bright hotel, it's elegant and classic. Don't expect cheap Chinese LEDs ON every corner. Furniture and colors are very inviting to a relaxed state of mind. The room was big enough, classical furniture, 2 comfy armchairs, heavy and blocking light curtains do the job. Bed, quite comfy and big. Wrong pillows. I would have enjoyed more if a 3rd (extra) bed wasn't there. Is the idea to make me feel more lonely? :-) Reception made a cock-up. I'm single traveler, I booked for 2. I didn't bother to ask to remove Soundproofing: once you step out of the lift: no echo on large aisle. Carpets floors all over, solid furniture plus all the surrounding trees makes the trick. Once inside the room: you hear next door people having a conversation, doors opening. Seriously! It really sucks! I went ill, upset stomach and I didn't felt relaxed to use the closed as much as needed. On the other hand: the adults games? How to manage it? Mute on? Parking is super. It's approved even for those with only 2 remaining points on theirs driving license. :-) I would come back as a single traveler. My greetings to the cleaning staff. Good job. Thank you.

The hotel is in a good location if you need to be close to the airport. The room is comfortable and clean. However, during the night I stayed, there were lots of people making noise in the halls and in the hotel. This didn't happen the previous time I booked a room.

Lovely hotel, amazingly centrally situated, and so we were able to walk to all the things we needed to see and do. Breakfast excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food. Staff generally very kind and polite. Our one complaint was that the TV in the bedroom we had, kept losing or freezing the picture on the BBC world news channel, and a small icon kept appearing from LG, which after waiting a while restored the screen. We complained about this on the first morning we were there, and the reception noted it and siad an engineer would go and attend to it. This was not done and for the whole stay sadly we were frustrated by the TV which was really of no use to us what so ever. I have read other similar stories on Tripadvisor about the same complaint, and so clearly the hotel is aware of the problem but seemingly chooses not to do anything about it. This is a shame, beacuse something so easy, and expected would make a huge difference to one's enjoyment of the room. Other than that, really we had no complaints, and would certainly stay again.

It was friendly and clean. Each and every detail was taken care of, and the hotel design was truly unique. It's a great location for sightseeing around.

Excelent location near airport but in a quiet zone. Big rooms with all the facilities. We'll be back for sure.

I recently stayed at Hotel Puerta América and had a mixed experience. The hotel’s design is definitely its highlight—each floor features a unique style created by world-renowned architects, which makes for a visually exciting stay. The rooms are modern and spacious, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor. However, there were a few drawbacks. The service, while polite, felt inconsistent. Check-in took longer than expected, and there were delays with room service on multiple occasions. Additionally, while the hotel boasts of its luxury, some amenities felt a bit dated, especially considering the price point. The location is slightly away from the main tourist attractions, which is great if you’re looking for a quiet stay, but it’s not ideal for those wanting to be in the heart of the action. Overall, Hotel Puerta América is a stylish and unique hotel, but there are areas where improvements could be made to justify the cost and overall experience.

Good in location, near Atocha station. Good hotel facilities. Good star services. Good breakfast. BUT be careful to select the room, my room get a big column inside living room and bath room, very bad experience. I book the Superior twin room, but not superior, only at 1/F. No place to put our luggage, no table to put our accessories. May be you have to pay more to book large room will be better. And bad entrance design, you need to to go inside through a staircase, will be a problem if you have heavy luggage.

A design hotel that suits your taste. Excellent location, rich breakfast. Opposite the hotel stands a statue of Cervantes and his family. Walking distance to the Spanish Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía and Temple of Debod. The bathroom design is novel. There is a separate bathtub and shower in the bathroom. It is very clever and feels like a swimming pool. After the bath, you can take a shower. It is clean and hygienic. The bathroom floor is slightly raised by the glass door. When showering, water will never seep out through the door gap, avoiding slipping on the floor outside the bathroom. The bedroom is spacious with a double bed and a coffee table. The bedroom door separates the bedroom from the bathroom and the tea room, which is relatively independent.
