Best Pet friendly Hotels in Madrid

Breakfast & complementary break room with coffee and snacks downstairs was fantastic. The desk ladies were super helpful & even helped me book a tour as well as helped me sort out the laundry form - bless them for letting me practice my Spanish with them😅😅. Personally, this was the perfect hotel at the perfect time for 2 reasons; 1) there's nothing on the walls, no paintings or pictures which was good for me as a kindergarten teacher on vacation, I appreciated the sensory deprivation 🙂 and 2) there was a lot of floor space to work out in the room since there was no gym. Plenty of room in all directions to do yoga, BJJ drills & floor workouts - I don't know if I just got lucky with the room. 😊

The hotel is in a great location, very convenient for shopping and going to and from the airport. The hotel facilities are also very new, much better than expected. The service staff are also very enthusiastic and respond very quickly.

Staff was nice and allowed an early check in. Great location with the train station a five minute walk. The Prado and the plaza Mayor both very walkable. Plus, there are a number of excellent restaurants in the area. The downside is the street noise. We had a room on the 5th floor without AC which required us to have our windows open and the noise from the very busy street was deafening. And at 3 am people returning from their night out partying- laughing and yelling could be heard. I think the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. But, I would recommend a room high up with AC or in the back of the hotel.

They have wonderful service. The location is good for being near the airport but if you want to go anywhere touristy you have to hop on the metro for a few stops so not too bad. The shuttle to the airport was the best made it so easy to get to the airport for my early morning flight. (Pics are a few things I saw in Madrid)

Habitaciones bien decoradas, de manera funcional. Baño impecable. Camas muy cómodas. Personal muy amable, servicial y joven. Los servicios de restauración, hay que pagarlos aparte. Hay minibar, pero vacío. Hay máquina de venta de aperitivos y bebidas, pero funciona, exclusivamente, con billetes de 5 €, devolviendo cambio. Inconveniente: está apartado del pueblo de Barajas, y del Aeropuerto. El taxi, desde la T1-T2-T3, cuesta aproximadamente 20 €. El taxi a la T-4, puede costar 24 € aproximadamente. Una de las ventajas que tiene, es que suele haber taxis parados junto a la puerta del hotel. El hotel queda lejos de las estaciones de metro, pero hay paradas de autobuses cercanas, que conectan con Madrid Canillejas.

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. Exceptionally clean, really friendly and attentive staff, good atmosphere in the downstairs bar area and on the roof bar, good breakfast and very comfy, well equipped room. Wasn’t too sure initially about the area but we soon felt very comfortable and found some great bars and restaurants locally off the tourist trail. Great location for walking to the centre, La Latina, El Rastro, the park (El Retiro), the art galleries and metro/train connections. Loved Madrid.

Very convenient, you can go to many places on foot. It's very quiet, it's a quiet place in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Taking a taxi is also very convenient. The restaurant downstairs is delicious, but the waiter’s English is average.

Excelente atención! Estuvimos 2 veces Cdo llegamos y después antes de regresar. En las dos ovaciones estuvimos muy bien. La segunda vez, no tuvieron problema en cambiarnos de habitación, porque en primera instancia nos resultó un poco chica, después estuvimos muy cómodos, todo gestionado por los chicos de recepción. El desayuno muy bueno! Y buenas las cenas de La Carmela! Las mucamas muy amables!

As a Marriott Titanium / Lifetime Platinum Elite Guest, our family [husband, wife and two young daughters] decided to visit Madrid, Spain to start our month-long 2023 summer vacation in Europe. We spent five (5) nights at Westin Palace Madrid using our Bonvoy points in late May / early June 2023. Please see the thirty-eight (38) photos we posted with this review of all aspects of the hotel. Within days after making our five (5) night stay using Marriott Bonvoy points approximately ten (10) months prior to our arrival date, we emailed General Manager, Pablo Flores and advised him of our future stay as well as our special requests, including our request for an Executive Suite, which would comfortably host our family of four. Within hours of our email, we received a thoughtful reply Paloma Hidalgo, Director of Rooms, whom immediately provided us with a complimentary guaranteed upgrade to an Executive Suite and further, Ms. Hidalgo readily granted all of our other special requests. The prompt response did not come as a surprise to us given how active the management of this property is in reading and promptly replying to past guests on Trip Advisor as well as the Marriott Bonvoy website, which is but a mere sign of management’s commitment to exemplary customer service. Not surprisingly, we were overjoyed with such a response and really looked forward to our future stay at The Westin Palace Madrid. This gorgeous historic hotel is magnificently located in Madrid overlooking the Neptune Fountain and less than a three minute walk to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, less than a five minute walk to the Prado Museum and less than a ten minute walk to the Reina Sofia Museum. It is also extremely close to Retiro Park and is within an easy 15 minute walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Gran Via as well as many bars, restaurant, trendy cafés, market and other cultural attractions. You can easily walk everywhere throughout the entire city but public transportation options abound in close proximity to the hotel as well. Our initial visit to the Westin Palace Madrid did not disappoint, especially when the hotel accommodated our extremely early check-in (before 9:00 am). The check-in process with Ms. Hidalgo, Estefanía Martinez, Front Office Assistant Manager and Juan at the reception desk was a breeze. Further, Ms. Martinez was kind enough to personally escort us to our suite and show us all of the features and amenities of same. This was very thoughtful on the part of Ms. Martinez and very much appreciated. Throughout our entire five (5) night stay, Ms. Hidalgo and Ms. Martinez were especially helpful and friendly. We simply loved our Palace Executive Suite with slightly over 1,000 square feet in total space with a sublime view of the Neptune Fountain; it was truly remarkable. You’ve gotta stay here and book a room with a balcony and view of Gran Via street. It was an amazing stay, the room is beautiful, double sinks great showerhead, comfortable bed … everything was perfect and the location is close to restaurants, shops, the metro, buses, Starbucks. We absolutely loved our stay!
