Abalú Design Boutique Hotel Gran Via

Madrid City Center
Although the room is small, but the bathroom is large, it is relatively clean, the boutique hotel address is good, in the city center, not far from the palace, the hotel service is more user-friendly, although the room is not included in the breakfast, but there will be a small bread every morning. And a bottle of water on the door, very intimate

El hotel es nuevo y el personal se esfuerza por dar un buen servicio. Camas cómodas y habitaciones aisladas. Viajamos con persona en silla de ruedas y el hotel está totalmente adaptado. El hotel está en un polígono y no hay nada cerca. No ofrecen comidas salvo unos bocadillos. Este es un tema en el que deben mejorar. En el baño también deberían poner algo más de luz . En general una estancia agradable para pasar un día de tránsito.

Travelled to Madrid from Scotland, for five nights, with my husband, father and 7 month old daughter. Location of hotel was perfect. Welcome to hotel was lovely. Room was really nice and clean. Breakfast was fantastic. However....on our second evening we had no warm water in the shower of our rooms. After a very busy and warm day, we wanted to shower and get ready to meet our friends for dinner. We couldn't. I contacted reception and after 50 minutes, it was not resolved. We went to reception and were offered another room, however we now did not have enough time to get showered etc before our evening plans. We were told that the delay was due to reception being busy checking people in. I feel that as we were already guests, it was disappointing that there was no priority given to us. It ruined our night. We never received any apology. We were offered to move room however the water was working the following morning. I feel that this was not handled correctly, however apart from this...could not fault hotel. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again.
Ibis Budget Madrid Centro Las Ventas

I gave this a four-star review based on the fact that it is a BUDGET hotel. We stayed here for three-nights at the beginning of our trip to Spain in September. As a couple, with several large suitcases, it was okay for a few nights, we were not able to unpack much so getting ready each day was a challenge. The hotel is quiet and the beds are comfortable. It's odd that the shower is in the middle of the room (as opposed to being within an enclosed bathroom) so each time we showered the room stayed very humid for a good amount of time. Thankfully, the windows do open and you can control the temperature of your room so this wasn't much of an issue. We sleep with eye masks on, so this wasn't an issue, but right above the bed in our room there was a smoke or CO2 detector that flashed a green light all day and all night. If we didn't have our masks, this would have driven us crazy at night. This hotel isn't in the tourist hot spots, but it's near a main road with stores and restaurants. It's a two-minute walk from a metro station and the Madrid subway is affordable and easy to navigate. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful.
Innside Madrid Valdebebas

Room 604, Studio with terrace, this was a corner room. Lovely room with wonderful terrace, if you want to sunbath late afternoon sun blasts on to it. Free mini bar, free shuttle from airport every 30 mins. New hotel so everything looks fresh and very clean rooms, staff are friendly. There is a supermarket other side of road, a pharmacy, barbers, hairdresser, a couple of restaurants and a Burger King within less than a minute. Located in newly created residential area it looks like, would definitely stay here again as perfect for terminal 4. 2 things to note however - The driver of shuttle bus decided to have 2 cigarettes and chat with other drivers which meant the bus left 10 - 15 mins late, and there were some issues with checking in on phone prior to arriving where the machine dispensing the room cards didn't work. All fine in the end and otherwise a perfect stay in really nice hotel.
