Although it is 100-200m far from train station and metro station, it is better than another hotel which is exactly located on top of train station because Barcelo is real 4 stars hotel (another one is just 3 stars standard, I stayed both hotels in this trip.)
Breakfast is good, room is clean, worth of money. Will stay again when I visit Madrid in future.
The hotel is far away from the city center but public transportations are nearby so pretty convenient. I traveled solo and was put in a room with 2 twin beds pushed together so I’d asked to change me to a one queen but the front desk guy said they’re all booked, although it seemed pretty empty on a Monday. The room I stayed in didn’t have a bathtub but the design was really nice with a great view. The lights were very complicated to use because they had too many things going on so sometimes the lights in the room turn on out of no where in the middle of the night extra bright. The room had cool technologies though like automatic blinds that blackout the room, vanity lights, and rainfall showers. You pretty much don’t know what kind of designs the room you get will have so it might not be for everyone who must have certain things-might be better to go with a chain brand. The room had weird things like 3 landline phones-one by the bed, one on the tv wall, and one near the toilet in case you need to order room service while pooping I guess. The hotel amenities like the pool were closed and chairs were covered and certain areas seemed rundown for a 5-star hotel. Overall, ok experience.

Every day, the room is carefully arranged, and it is extremely convenient to eat, drink and shop around. The bathroom is too small and the room has a large smell of smoke. Poor sound insulation. The price is fair. The reception desk is on the second floor of the store that is farther away from the intersection. Press the doorbell to go up.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is convenient to go anywhere in the Puerta del Sol. There are always police cars patrolling the square, so it is relatively safe. The interior decoration of the room is simple, clean and practical. The master bedroom is very large. The upper and lower bunks are 1.8*0.8 meters in visual inspection. The bathroom has good water drainage. The only thing that needs attention is the electric water heater. If three people take a bath in a row, there will be insufficient hot water, so they need to wash faster.

Especially good, the location is super good, after renovation, the glass is very soundproof, double-layer, give me room and terrace, the room is also very large, the hand soap is very good, the staff is very warm, the sol is there in the west of the hotel. In the construction, the raspberry bear ( ́-ω-`) is just east, there is no construction here. Not far from the airport bus, in short, I like it very much. It’s not good to be entangled in Samsung before. It’s really great after I live. I like it very much. Very good, better than the Metz hotel.

Too pleasant experience, the location is so good that there is nothing to say, in the center of the Sun Gate, go shopping downstairs, take two steps to the subway Sol station, the door is on the street, you have to swipe the room card to enter, the security measures are in place.
The room is small, the bed is spacious and clean, the toilet is large, there is a wardrobe refrigerator, one or two people are absolutely suitable
The breakfast was very rich, all kinds of ham bread fruit, coffee was delicious.
Hotel service is also very user-friendly, arrived at the store at 9 o'clock in the morning, did not arrive at the check-in time but there is a room available, give me the room in advance
Highly recommend this hotel ~

First time living in hostel, it is better than expectation. Room is old, because it is in an old building, but clean and tidy. good location near the sol square and metro station, walking just in few minutes to the major square. many many restaurants around. The hostel staff is helpful, because I am late check in at mid night, the hostel closely contact me by whatsapp and guide my travel from the airport.
