2-Star Hotels in Madrid

I have stayed in many hostels before but at TOC it was the first time I stayed in a shared room ( female only). I was a bit worried as I didn't know what to expect but it turned out great. The hostel is awesome, has friendly staff and is the most modern hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were quite nicely soundproofed as you couldn't hear much from the hallways as it is usual for other hostels. In my 6 bed female room, we had 2 toilets, 2 sinks, and 2 showers - it was enough. :) I will be coming back, definitely!

One of the best hostel I've ever been to. The 8-people shared bedroom was BIG, with beds safely distant. The overall cleanliness of the host was good, the atmosphere was great (with sangria parties going on every night downstairs and Madrid tours every morning) but the best part was the staff: super friendly and ready to help you. The Italian girl working at the reception was lovely! She recommended lots of her favourite restaurants and they were so good. Thank you so much!

The shower is broken, you can only take a shower with a shower that cannot be moved on the ceiling. There is no guardrail on the bunk bed, and I am a little afraid of falling when I sleep, which is a bit dangerous. The provided body milk thought it was a moisturizer, but it would foam when touched with water. I suspected that the body wash was put into the body milk. The location of the hotel is good, the subway station is nearby, very convenient.

Loved my staying. Will stay again for sure. Price, quality and space are great. Self check in available at the door at any time presenting the number of reservation. Bathroom inside the room but with separated doors. It was build very well with the client needs in mind. Can't say enough how great their structure is compared to many hostel I have been to.

The room was nice had good amenities but was a bit small but that's not a problem although I could have gotten a bigger room in London for less as I paid $85 which was to much for that size expecially since Spain is meant to be cheaper. The staff where helpful and friendly and very professional. My main issue was the 1€ charge for a locker to store your bag after checkout. Not a lot but si ce I'd already paid more than I should that was 1€ to much so had to carry my heavy bags everywhere till midnight. Would be appreciated if you could just make that free as 1€ not a lot to you but to me after paying a lot already was a lot.

The hostel was really nice. The location is good, the staff is really welcoming and smiling and the room was nice. I was really surprised to get such a nice room for a really cheap price. The locker with its key are included in the price of the room and there was everything required to sleep comfortably. I really recommend it.

This was my favorite hostel of my month long trip. Everyone was friendly and inclusive, it felt like a home away from home. They planned fun activities each day to explore the city and get to know everyone. Free churros/fruit/coffee is a plus! Gabo and Angel were awesome and went above and beyond to give recommendations for Madrid and other areas of Spain. Thank you all :)

The hostel had a great location! There were lots of great restaurants near by and the night life was fun. They don’t provide any soap or shampoo in the shower. The rooms are small and a tight fit with 3 bunk beds. Nothing fresh for breakfast. I guess you get what you paid for.

We stayed here for 3 nights in June 2024. Overall it was an excellent stay, the room was superb and the unexpected bonus of the basement coffee corner was great. We had a small complimentary breakfast bag on our door each morning and I was able to visit the coffee corner for complimentary coffee and biscuits, fruit etc. The only downside was that to reach our room we had to use a small staircase to reach the lift and then another staircase to go to our room, 104. As my wife recently had a knee replacement this was difficult, and for her the coffee corner was impossible to reach via many stairs. Had we known about the stairs we may not have booked, but would have missed what was otherwise an excellent hotel in a central location.
