"Hotel with an excellent location, in the heart of Gran Vía. The attention of the staff was very good. They have a terrace on the ninth floor with good views of the Gran Vía, where you can have a drink and enjoy the tranquility (something difficult in this city).
They gave us a renovated room and we cannot take any inconvenience from it, it was spacious, with a huge bathroom and everything was very clean.
We will definitely be back."
"The hotel is in a very convenient location in the city center, close to various attractions. It is very convenient to go anywhere by foot or online taxi. There are many shops, restaurants and supermarkets on the nearby commercial street Gran Vía, which is very convenient. The staff can speak English and can communicate. You need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, and bath slippers. It is best to bring your own hair dryer. The hotel is relatively heavy. The hotel does not provide disposable drinks. Because the hotel is environmentally friendly, it provides recycled glass bottles of water. However, there is a 24-hour supermarket not far from the hotel where you can buy it. The price is not expensive. If we come to Madrid next time, we will choose this hotel again, but we hope that the hotel front desk can strengthen its service attitude. It would be better if one of the employees is more friendly. The other employees are pretty good."
"Perfect location💯, overall it's OK, the lack of hot water is particularly terrible, I remember that European hotels were not like this before, now you can only go to the first floor to get hot water, this hotel can only heat the tap water for you in the microwave..."

"Location is excellent near the shopping district and metro station.
The only thing about the room is, there isn’t any comfortable sofa seat or arm chair that you can rest on without dirtying the bed.
Also, it’s cold at 11 degree, but you have to request for blanket. The room doesn’t comes with any blanket if you do not request for it. It’s weird.
Overall, ok with the hotel"
"The location is good as it’s very central. The room was a bit small but it was on discount and the facilities were alright. We had a bathtub and had no problem going around Madrid. It’s not a bad choice but depending on the room your views could be better as our view was facing the building and there wasn’t much to see. Either ways it’s not a resort so I think the experience was good"
"I really love this hotel. I welcome cakes and bear candy on the first day. It is delicious, and the quality of the toiletries is very good. The hotel has a free mobile internet, a deposit of 200 Euros, and a refund. The breakfast area is small but it is really pleasant. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the sun and tea, it is full of holiday. I will definitely stay again next time."
"The location of the hotel is very good, just next to Gran Via, you can go shopping when you go out. In addition, it is very convenient to travel, the subway station is at the door, the sightseeing bus platform is not far away, and there are several food streets around. The hotel service staff is also warm and thoughtful. It is worth mentioning that there are many Chinese restaurants in the surrounding area, as well as coco milk tea."
"The hotel service is very good, the location is also very good, the house has high ceilings and a small balcony.
The breakfast is simple but delicious and the staff is enthusiastic.
There is an access control at the door, and guests need to swipe their door card to enter. Those who do not check in need to ring the doorbell and ask the front desk to open the door, which is more secure.
The only drawback is the lack of supermarket accessories."

Amazing
FFeitiannvwudingdangmaoThe hotel is in a great location, close to the Puerta del Mar Museum and Retiro Park, and within walking distance to Puerta del Sol.
The room is large, well-equipped, the breakfast is rich, and the service attitude is also very good.
TTraveler 123recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Palacio de los Duques in Madrid, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I entered the magnificent palace-like building, I was captivated by the grandeur and elegance that surrounded me.
The hotel's location in the heart of Madrid's historic center is perfect for exploring the city's attractions. Many iconic landmarks, such as the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor, are within walking distance, making it convenient for sightseeing enthusiasts like me.
The staff at Palacio de los Duques Madrid truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service provided by the concierge, every interaction was marked by genuine hospitality and professionalism.
The room I stayed in was beautifully appointed and exuded a sense of luxury. The elegant decor, comfortable furnishings, and modern amenities created a perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail was impeccable, and I appreciated the little touches that enhanced my stay, such as the plush bathrobes and high-quality toiletries.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's stunning rooftop terrace. Offering panoramic views of Madrid's skyline, it provided a breathtaking backdrop for enjoying a drink or simply unwinding while taking in the city's beauty. The on-site restaurant also surpassed my expectations with its delectable cuisine, showcasing a fusion of traditional and contemporary flavors.
Hotel Palacio de los Duques Madrid seamlessly blends historical charm with modern luxury. The preservation of the building's architectural heritage, combined with the impeccable service and attention to detail, creates an unforgettable experience.
Overall, my stay at Hotel Palacio de los Duques Madrid exceeded all expectations. It is a true gem in the heart of Madrid, offering a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and convenience. Whether you are visiting for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in the vibrant capital city of Spain.

Great
GGuest UserVery impressive! Friendly service. Room was a very good size for our family of 3 adults. Breakfast buffet was excellent!! Location was very good walking distance to many restaurants and stores.
LLorenaMolineroThe place is wonderful, clean, well equipped, easy check-in, next to Atocha, super spacious… well decorated… we loved the detail that it had a washing machine and clothesline! It has been a very good experience and both my daughter and I loved it!
GGuest UserThere are four stages in the journey, and I am now on the third stage. Madrid is the second stage.
This hotel is the best one among the three stages so far!!
The room is very clean and spacious. There is a safe and a refrigerator.
The toilet is separated into wet and dry areas. There is a circle of mirrors in the toilet, which makes it convenient for me and my friend to move separately. While she washes, I can also put on makeup. There are hand soap/shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion.
Free water every day!! Super considerate.
The service is also very nice. There is a restaurant on the 0th floor. Those who push large luggage can enter from the side door of the restaurant. There are only steps at the hotel entrance.
There is a bus stop and a subway station next to the hotel, so the transportation is relatively convenient. You can walk to Retiro Park in the morning. You can also pass by two large supermarkets on the way.
JJoelAfter traveling extensively in China, returning to Spain highlighted some noticeable differences, particularly in Madrid. While the city and its infrastructure may feel a bit outdated compared to other global hubs, the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá was a decent and comfortable place to stay.
The hotel’s location is its strongest feature—it’s directly across from Chamartín Train Station and its adjacent subway station. While the train station and subway facilities are not the most modern or impressive, the convenience of being so close to transportation hubs is a definite plus. The street leading to the hotel is a bit unusual, set on a slope, but it’s manageable.
The room was clean and functional, though slightly dated. The beds were comfortable, albeit with older spring mattresses that could use an upgrade. Despite the slightly worn feel, the room provided a comfortable space to rest after a day of exploring or work.
The standout feature of this hotel was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to different tastes. It was easily the highlight of my stay and set a great tone for the day.
The service was also pleasant and friendly, which is a nice touch, especially given the sometimes lackluster service standards in Spain. The staff were helpful and made the stay more enjoyable.
Overall, while the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá may not be the most modern or luxurious option, it offers good value for its location, a comfortable stay, and an exceptional breakfast. If you’re looking for a convenient and reliable place to stay near Chamartín Station, this hotel is a solid choice.
GGuest UserDecent Hotel that is approximately 15-20 minutes from Madrid's main airport.
There are no local shops or restaurants and for this they exploit the opportunity by charging 3-4 times the normal retail price for drinks and snacks in the vending machine on the ground floor.
Restaurant left little to be desired on the menu.
To get to central Madrid, like areas such as Sol you will need to exit the hotel to reach the main road, cross over (don't forget this) and catch most of the available buses to the metro station and then continue your journey by metro for 7-8 stops. So a transport card is recommended for a few days travelling around.
Rooms are a little spacious and are clean but have no in-room safe leaving you to juggle your valuables and to secure them in your luggage.
Overall a decent stay at a ”no-frills” hotel that is priced really well. Expect the price to go up once they add more amenities such as complimentary bottled water, a safe and a mini-bar.
NNihamdeeVery bad hostel because bedding is not normal mattress is a Inflatable plastic mattress
Is uncomfortable
That’s why very cheap if you need to sleep well do not book this hostel
Inflatable plastic mattress very bad
But staff very friendly and good assistance
So stress when I book another hotel because very headache not able to sleep at Inflatable plastic mattress
GGuest UserIt was a great hotel to spend a few days!
The room was a toilet and glass shower room.
You can see YouTube on TV!
Access was very good because the tourist spots were right away! It is about 5 minutes from the nearest station.
The hotel is lift to the lobby 🛗, and the room has only stairs, so you have to bring your suitcase up by yourself!
Please note that you can't leave your luggage for free before check-in time!
