Be super careful booking the cheapest rate with this hotel as even if you are forced to cancel because your flight lands into a natural disaster and you have medical conditions that prohibit landing in such conditions, they will not cancel your booking. I had to cancel, gave heaps of notice and they still refused to cancel.

The location is great... Lots of eateries round the corners.. Opera metro station is also round the corner.. the shower room gives off a foul smell though.. other than that it's gd..

Close to the Opera House and Puerta del Sol, as well as the Royal Palace, Cathedral and Plaza de España. The surrounding area is noisy, but it is convenient for dining. San Miguel Market is nearby. The staff in the store are professional and friendly. Several major museums and Retiro Park are within walking distance.
