Too bad breakfast outside the hotel

unenthusiastic reception,good localization,price/value well,,before pay not acceptable check the room state

One of the worst hotels ever seen.the room of my friends was very small. We asked the day the lady at the reception to change the second night but she was not respectful she says just no no no....the breakfast is outside the hotel in a small cafe shop where sometimes you don't find a place to set . don't make the reservation direct from the hotel .try to get it by booking or any how because they will screw you when they get the money of your journey.....bad experience .

We did not enjoy our stay. We were scheduled for a 4 day stay but on the first night we found bugs in our room and were bit by one. We talked to the front desk staff and they did not seem concerned and would not honor any recompense for an early check out.

Great staff (Ralo and Alvaro), Santo Domingo metro is just a 2 minutes by foot, perfect location as it is close to attractions, walking distance to top places to see in Madrid, quiet area, rooms are clean and affordable prices.

This hotel is centrally located, surrounded by plenty of eateries and shops. Staffs are nice and friendly. Front desk staff is nice to let us use the iron/ironing board during our stay. Room is miserably small, and the toliet is tiny. We cannot be sure if it is the smallest toliet in the world but for sure we will remember the toliet for the longest time to come even if we forget the hotel itself. In our honest opinion, the room we had which was meant for double occupancy with two single beds, will likely be sufficient for a single person with one big luggage. Two persons in the room with two big luggage can hardly move without coming into contact with either the furniture or structures.

Great stay, close to amenities, restaurants , shops, city bus tour, good price and quiet room. We would certainly use this hotel again. It was cost effective with friendly staff providing good customer care

it was good. nice location and the staff was nice. It could have been cleaner. And we liked the fact that they gave us free water bottles. I would come here again if If I have the oportunity to do so.

The hotel needs renovation: 1. there is no place to put cosmetics in the bathroom 2. the shower needs repair 3. the shower door does not close 4. A large double bed is 2 single beds next to each other 5. there is a musty smell in the room

I was in Madrid for 4 days and stayed at the JC-Rooms Santo Domingo hotel. The room was quiet, very clean, well air-conditioned. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Estuve 4 días en Madrid y me alojé en el hotel JC-Rooms Santo Domingo. La habitación era tranquila, muy limpia. El personal era muy amable y servicial.

We were assigned the worst room in the hotel, it was so dark, with only one small window less than a metre wide looking onto a wall about a metre away. Other rooms had balconies and daylight. The most shocking thing was when I asked the receptionist how to use the safe, which had been left with the door locked in the open position, he handed me a scrap of paper with the combination handwritten on it. So we couldn’t risk using the safe at all! Appalling.

There was bad sewage smell from the bathroom. The included breakfast was completely to our satisfaction. The safe in the room had fixed code that could not be changed. Not something that gave trust...

They sold me a room with windows, very pretty and decorated. When i got there, they give me the bottom of the barrel, a very small room without windows and a very bad smell. They give some excuse about beds and that the rooms i wanted would cost me more money per night! In the end they agreed to give me the room i paid for but even it was very poorly kept. I would never come back there, thank you.

Excellent location. Short 2 min (200 m) walk from Santo Domingo metro station. We would definitely stay here again. The rooms are small but have lots of easily accessible electrical outlets, a great shower and wonderful air conditioning. JC Rooms Santo Domingo is perfect if you are on a walking vacation in Madrid. They have an excellent map available at the reception desk for sightseeing. Reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. Dia supermarket is available in Plaza Santo Domingo. Many cafes available within 5 min walk. Palacio Real de Madrid is about 600 m. Chocolatería San Ginés (not to be missed for churros with melted chocolate) is also only 600m walk. Our room overlooked the playground at Plaza Santo Domingo but was very quiet. To get JC Rooms Santo Domingo from the airport take the Pink line (#8) to Nuevos Ministerios transfer to the Grey line (#6) go 1 stop to Cuatro Caminos and transfer to Red line (#2 Las Rosas direction) go 4 stops to Santo Domingo station. To get JC Rooms Santo Domingo from the Atocha train station take the Blue line (#1 Pinar de Chamartín direction) to Sol transfer to the Red line (#2 Cuatro Caminos direction) go 2 stops to Santo Domingo station.
