Generally, the accommodation is very crowded. The check-in efficiency is very good but the room card often does not work, even when the staff help to change the room card. Other good, easy to check out

Location is good as most places of interest (when you google for “must see” in Madrid) are within walking distance. Downside is the noise as it is situated along busy streets and the theatre

I really like the kitchen. It's convenient, clean, and all the service staff are good.

The room is soundproofed, the bed has a curtain, a small shelf and a USB charging port and socket. The only drawback is that even though the light above the bed is turned off, there is still a weak light source. Locks cost extra.

We had a complimentary breakfast of cellos and coffee in the morning, and delicious sangria in the evening, which was very nice. I arrived at 7am, but a male staff member kindly told me to take a rest in the common area until check-in. The kitchen and common spaces close at 11pm, which was sad. Luggage storage after check-out was free, but there was a limit until 8pm. The location was very good, it was fun to walk around, and it was a convenient area with a supermarket and local mercado nearby.

The location is very close to the subway station and the pharmacy. The room is large and comfortable. The staff are very nice. The railing on the bed is too stiff and there is no storage space at the head of the bed.

As long as you open the Google Maps software, you will know that this kind of thing has happened to many people: this hotel does not allow changes to the accommodation time. Even though you can check from the website that there are available rooms in September and the price is cheaper, the accommodation rooms are unavailable. I was willing to change my check-in date. Their official website said I could contact you directly to change the date. And there were still four months until check-in, but they said they didn’t have a room! I want to complain about their unfair system! In addition, I would like to complain specifically to the waiter, Lucia Branca. She ignored any of my requests and communicated with me in a very bad tone. I experienced the worst service in Europe! I would never recommend this hotel! Great hostel, friendly staff, clean and organised service. Amazing location right in the middle of the city so ideal for exploring - despite this had no problems at all with noise. We were a group of 20 and they had no trouble accommodating us for a very reasonable price.

Only a few minutes walk from Sol and Plaza Major, and there is a metro station 50m away. Bed is spacious with privacy curtain, there is a huge underbed storage so bring your own padlock. One pet hate is that girls keep using the men's bathroom & toilet so thanks for the long hair and makeup powder in and around the sink(they don't even know how to clean after it), not sure if it's the not so visible signage? But imagine if the boys enter a women's toilet!

WONDERFUL. Staying at this hostel is much more than booking an accomodation: it's an experience itself. It's like a family, they really make your day. The people are amazing and the place is really nice!

Way Hostel is very near the Tirso de Molina train station. It is also walking distance from Sol Metro station and Plaza Mayor. Gran Via is around 1km from this hostel. I can say the location is quite okay. The bed is just okay. I am Asian and can fit into it. But you really cannot sit on the bed as the clearance is not that high. The staff are nice and try as much as they can to answer the questions and help in your itinerary. Further to this, I lost the padlock key of my locker and they helped me open it. They have padlocks for rent in case you do not want to buy one but wants your things secured. The hostel has free bread and churros every morning. Very nice of them 😁 The kitchen and common area is quite small as they have a lot of guests. The luggage storage is also upstairs which means bringing it up by stairs. The staff helped me bring up my lugage when I checked out. I stored the luggage so I can roam around Madrid before my flight in the evening. It is worth the money.
