It was very good they provided hot water pot to make hot tea! It was relevantly quiet room and very appreciate it.

A hotel which does exactly what it aims to do. It is perfectly reasonable stay for the price. The location is great , the rooms are tidy with good beds and showers . They are on the small side but for this price that is perfectly acceptable.

Very good hotel, complete facilities, refrigerator and microwave, large room. Except that the hot water ran out after taking a shower for more than half an hour, it was not very convenient for two people to take turns to take a shower

非常差的入住體驗，不隔音，房間太小住着很壓抑，不推薦入駐。

Very poor check-in experience, no soundproofing, the room is too small and very depressing, not recommended.

Excelente ubicación muy cerca de todo. En el centro de Madrid a pocos minutos de todo lo que tienes para visitar. Muy buena conexión por bus y muy cerca a 100 metros la estación de metro línea 1 que te lleva a Chamartín. Las habitaciones son muy pequeñitas, al igual que el baño, pero hecho todo a nuevo y una ducha hermosa ! En general es una pena que sean tan pequeñas las habitaciones. Tiene muy buena cama, colchón, almohada. Heladera, placard y reitero todo nuevo. Wifi de maravillas. Está muy bien por el precio y para estar unos pocos días.  Está bueno el Hostal.

I stayed at the Hostal Castilla I Atocha for a couple of nights. It was travelling solo so the cosy room was good enough for me (basic but clean and decent)   It had private bathroom and the staff at the reception was there 24h. They were friendly and helpful. Wifi was free and I had good signal.   I also liked the location as it was very close to Atocha Station and it was easy for me to walk there the day I decided to catch the train to Toledo. Important museums like Reina Sofia are close and there are shops and supermarkets all within easy reach.  Price wise I though it was a bit expensive but perhaps it was because it was in January during a trade show taking place in the city (Fitur) which tends to be a busy period for Madrid.    I was fairly happy with my choice and stay at this hotel and I think it is a good choice for solo travelers.
