We booked to stay at Ana Colors on our recent trip to Madrid. I had received a message the day before to say that Reception would be open . When we arrived at what we thought was the address, we could not find the hotel and so I referred back to my booking where it said that you had to check in at the Hotel Mayerling. We duly turned up, receptionist knew nothing about this arrangement & rang Ana Colors. Unhelpful response meant that after our long walk up hill with cases , we lost confidence in Ana Colors. Booked into very helpful, clean & efficient Mayerling. Rang Ana Colors to cancel & receptionist rude. Would NOT recommend Ana Colors. Photo shows evidence of check in that receptionist said did not exist

We were in October and the service was good and the hostel, in addition to being well located, was pleasant and practical. The wifi worked well and the breakfast varied and the cleaning of the room was good although a little late.

The location is great, very central, with all kinds of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is super clean, they tidy up your room and change your towels daily and they have coffee and water so you can help yourself whenever you feel like it, all for free. The unbeatable attention, super pleasant at all times, they store your suitcases before and after your stay and always serve you with a smile. Without a doubt we will choose it again when we visit Madrid.

Pésimas condiciones: el agua caliente apenas dura dos minutos, sin sistema de desagüe, dos pisos sin ascensor, nula insonorización, tv enana, secador de pelo e juguete, escueta ropa de cama...cromaterapia?? papel pintado y dos toallas a juego (cromopocavergüenza diría yo).
