Great location, quiet room, love our stay at this hotel. Friendly staff and also close to everything!

Starting with the positives the hotel is in a good location with many restaurant and entertainment options. The property itself is very dated and in dire need of a facelift. In the back of the hotel where all the balconies face there is construction going on so it's extremely noisy from as early as 6:00 a.m. The hotel breakfast is okay but I kid you not when I say that during the 9 days of my stay the items on offer never changed once. It felt as though I was stuck in some time loop or a bad version of groundhog day. It also seems there may be some problem with their management system because for three consecutive days someone either knocked on the door or called on the phone to ask if I was checking out. Finally, during my stay I planned to use the little fitness center in the hotel. When I went to take a look I noticed a sign posted which stated that there was a €9 charge per person. There is no way anyone off the street would ever come in to use that tiny fitness center so I could only conclude that this was an additional surcharge for hotel guests. This probably explains why I never saw anyone use the facilities.

The hotel has a good location. However it is a little bit old. Breakfast is ok. The cost vs benefit balance is not even.

The hotel is in a very convenient area. 5 minute walk to metro stations which made it a great area to stay in. There are also a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Only negative of our stay was trying to order room service on a we were having trouble with the phone in the room to place the order but stuff wasn’t very helpful. Overall, great stay and would stay here again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and the checkin process was quick and easy! The breakfast buffet was great each morning. I had a Premium Room Gran Via Views. The patio had a nice view - was nice to sit on the terrace in the evening. However, the railing has glass that you can’t see through, so the view is blocked when you’re sitting down unfortunately. Would be better if the glass was fully transparent. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Overall a great stay!

Nice place!!!! The staff is very nice and welcoming. Comfy and clean beds. Perfect area, on Gran Vía but away from all the noice and crowd. A step from Plaza de España.
