Very Good Hotel and clean. Very Friendly Staff. Situated in a good neighbourhood of Madrid and easy access to Metro.

I didn't want to complain, but I still have to say that the hotel should improve its service attitude and awareness!

It is not centrally located, but it is very well connected via the method. In the area there are cafes, supermarkets and very good places to eat. The breakfast is very complete and of high quality. The personal attention is the weakest thing about it. Little kindness and predisposition. Well soundproofed room, very comfortable beds and spacious bathroom.

I had the opportunity to stay twice in the hotel: from 5 to 6th Oct and then from 10 to 13th Oct 2024. Some positive characteristics: 1. Well located. - Barrio Salamanca is one of the best in Madrid. 2. Functional and well structured rooms. 3. Very well served breakfast 4. Well structured gym. 5. A team of friendly and professional attendants in the reception of the Hotel. 6. I would like to highlight a special professional named Mónica Gutiérrez: Patient, very polite, always available to help different needs of the customers and always with a smile in her face. A professional to be recognized and developed inside the organization. My reccomendation to her behavior and professionalism.

There wasn't anything wrong with this hotel but nothing excellent stands out. The room was clean and somewhat small. There wasn't much decor, the room was very basic. The bed was comfortable. The main outlets were so loose that I couldn't plug my devices to charge. However there was an outlet near the floor next to the door that was useable and I was able to charge my phone.

We stayed here as part of a Globus tour and at first I was thinking "why are we so far away from downtown?" but this location was excellent. It is in the Barrio de Salamanca (upscale area) and there are wonderful restaurants in every direction, shopping galore (regular and designer), and a metro stop nearby for easy access anywhere else in the city. It was very safe to walk around at night too. The hotel had a parking garage, which made it easy to rent a car for the extra days we stayed outside of the tour so we could do day trips on our own. The room was not huge, but had everything we needed (fridge, safe, ample closet space). The bed was firm, but comfortable and we had no problem sleeping since the room and hallways were quiet. The bathroom was large and the shower was great. Breakfast was included with our stay and the breakfast was one of the best we had in Spain. There was something for everyone, from made to order eggs, pre-cooked eggs and other hot food, continental breakfast choices, fruit, pastries, breads, and 2 coffee stations plus a dedicated tea station- WOW! The hotel staff was amazing too! Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful, from the breakfast staff, housekeeping, and front desk- giving us great directions around town. We plan to visit Madrid again and will definitely stay here again!

I have booked a Standard 1 King at the NH Madrid Principe De Vergara. This modern hotel in the Barrio de Salamanca is a 4-minute walk from Avenida de América metro station and 2.7 km from the Museo Arqueológico Nacional. They are planty of restaurants, bars, and it is close to the shopping area (Serrano) or Cortes Ingles. The room was tidy, cosy, clean and quiet, so no problems at all. They offer almost all the toiletries you need, but no hair acconditioner or tootbrush. There was also a kettle, tea and coffee. The staff are nice and speak good English and the coffee bar area has nice food and beer.

A very comfortable NH Hotel conveniently located to the meetings I was in Madrid to attend. The staff were welcoming and the hotel was well-appointed. The breakfast area was pleasant and well-staffed. I used the laundry service while there and was impressed with the quality and speed of service.

great reception (even with late arrival but they made us feel like coming home), super breakfast. location was top for us. The shower is amazing. only downside was the missing power sockets in the room (only 1 power socket available by 1 side of the bed)... even lamp on the desk did not even have power socket so could not even light the lamp or use that power socket for something else.

I stayed here for a week for work. Good points: The hotel is well located, in a very safe area, within walking distance of many attractions Rooms are relatively modern Bad points: It’s very noisy; the air con was incredibly loud Pillows are irregular size (more like log pillows) and uncomfortable The showers took around 8-10 minutes to get up to temperature each day Rooms not that clean - stain marks on floor No iron / ironing board as standard Gym doesn’t open until 8am, which is a pain for business travellers wanting a workout before they start work Breakfasts advertise freshly cooked hot food “by asking your waiter” but in 5 days we never saw a waiter and I couldn’t see anyone being served hot food Gym was very very basic, with old failing equipment On checkout, I went to settle the excess bill as my company had paid (booked through a corporate travel agency), but the hotel denied this and compelled me to pay 1,000 euros even though I had the booking instructions to them telling them to charge the ******* virtual card. My colleagues stayed at the NH Balboa around 2 minutes’ walk away and I think that was slightly nicer. There was nothing massively wrong with this hotel, but other than the location it’s just “ok” - fine for a free days on a business trip, but I would be disappointed if I’d paid lots for it, or if it was a family visit.
