Hostal Josefina-Gran Vía

Very central. We had 2 rooms; 1 double and another triple. We had to ask to be moved to the triple room because the handle on the window was broken and could not be opened. At first he told us that it was broken and that was it, but when we told him to give us another room or another solution, they assigned us another room, it was possible I opened the windows but it didn't have a blind, but it is what it is... It has broken and/or old things, it needs some details to be seen. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. We had room 709 and it is very quiet because it faces the back of Calle Gran Vía and next to it is the emergency exit. The staff is good.

Hello good! The first thing I'm going to review is the unbeatable location of the hostel! Apart from that, the good cleanliness of the room detracts, it was spotless, but apart from that it is horrible, in the sense that it is very difficult to sleep there, they have a super loud bell that each of the guests uses... that is With each person who arrives when you are asleep you will wake up... the paper walls, you can even hear the conversations of the guests in the adjoining rooms... another thing to highlight is the staff, quite rude... You don't feel welcomed anywhere... on the contrary, you seem to ask for a favor every time you talk to them, something that in the end you choose to avoid. I leave the last and most juicy thing for last, it is a 9-story hostel building and there is only one elevator that can only take 4 people up, INCREDIBLE! If you want to go up you have to wait for it to be free, I mean you can wait a lifetime to be able to use it, to go down... obviously you end up choosing to go down on foot so as not to get old waiting or lose your vacation at the portal...
