DoubleTree by Hilton Madrid-Prado

The hotel staff are very polite and the location of the hotel is convenient and quiet. Although the Spanish holiday prices are a bit expensive, I am overall satisfied. The room size is also moderate, it is recommended to stay

The hotel is in a great location, close to the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace of Madrid, and the city center. We basically walked to all the attractions in the city, and it is not far from the train station. We walked around the city center on the day we arrived, and just walked to the Retiro Park, watched the sunset, and walked back to the hotel. There are also many places to eat near the hotel. When we first checked in, we were given a warm cookie, which was so heartwarming. There is an ironing board and iron in the room, which is very considerate. We used it. Other hotels we stayed in during the trip really didn't have irons and ironing boards. Shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, and hand soap are all British Crabtree and Evelyn, which smells good. The room we stayed in is relatively large and soundproof. There are a few breakfast varieties, but the waiter asked us what we wanted to drink on the first day, tea or coffee. He remembered our preferences on the second day. The receptionist at the front desk was very polite. He greeted us with a smile every time we entered and exited. This enthusiasm was particularly contagious. On the first day of arrival, the gentleman at the front desk was very considerate and gave us a map and told us the approximate walking distance, time, and popular attractions. We had a very pleasant 2 days!

The location of the hotel is pretty good. I didn't know it at first, but it turns out there are many good restaurants nearby! I found it late! The service is first-class, friendly and very accommodating. The room is just a little small but very clean.
