Seissta Madrid Centro "Remodelado"

The house is very noisy and the soundproofing is very poor. There is a bar and disco downstairs, and people are still making a lot of noise outside at 5 am. After waking up, it is impossible to fall asleep. Especially late at night, you cannot go out at all, and you lie down at the door. They are all drunkards, and check-in is extremely troublesome. No one cares about it, so they just send emails. Check-in has to wait until 15 o'clock, and check-out is not given a link. They just say that the process must be completed at 11 o'clock, otherwise there will be extra charges. The hotel phone number is not available at all. Not good at all, I have been in Spain for more than ten days, and this is one of the worst hotels.

The good: The location of the apartment is excellent, a few steps from Puerta del Sol, although getting there by car is complicated due to the works in Plaza del Carmen. The place is remodeled and very nice. It has a nice terrace. The bad: They assigned us to the third floor, which is not recommended if you have large suitcases. In addition, we were short of blankets for the 5 people and there was no soap in the bathroom. The noise is noticeable due to the location and there is construction next door. So at night there is noise during the march and the works start very early. There are no instructions for the heating or the safe, and communication via WhatsApp was poor, with almost no responses. There were 2 beds and a sofa bed, only the beds had covers and were dirty. The sofa bed was super uncomfortable and had no cover. Additionally, we experienced a lack of hot water during our stay, something I tried to communicate via WhatsApp. Although they suggested it was out of stock, we had never used it previously. This issue negatively affected our experience. For what we saved, we would have been better off paying more in a hotel with an elevator, hot water and enough blankets.
