Hotel Freedom

This was the worst experience ever at a hotel that I have had in my life. I would say please stay out and look for other hotels. We had booked the hotel for the entire family and I had specified that my kids would be staying. The owner himself was present at the reception and he was so rude to talk to. He refused to let us check in until we pay $105 for each kid as "additional occupancy". We had no option but to get that because there were no other hotels available. The rooms are a joke - there was no space to move around. All in all, it was a highly expensive hotel with nothing to show for it. The prices were comparable to a 5 star hotel that provides premium experience and service but there is nothing of that sort. The worst part is the "bait and switch" - The owner takes advantage of the fact that you are traveling with the family and wants to take your last penny. I would just say that go for other options.

The hotel was conveniently sited in the middle of Madrid. The rool was clean, the bed was comfortable, shower worked well, A bit odd having the washbasin in the room rather than in the bathroom. There was shower gel and handwash provided. The staff were lovely and friendly. My friend who I was travelling with had a disability scooter with her and we could easily get in and out of the hotel as there was a small ramp. We could leave the scooter in the lobby. There is no food provided at the hotel but there were cafes nearby where we could go for breakfast.

Very poor value. Stay Away AC shuts off all night every two hours Paid extra for balcony, and it was not a balcony on the street, but one where you saw nothing but four walls No Blankets only Sheets on the Beds

the room is so small, charge us extra when we came for the kids! the room was hot/warm, temperature can only go as low as 16C! safe isnt working, they only give us one card key, have to talk to a manager to request for a second one
