The cleaning staff was cleaning the bathroom continuously, the hotel is therefore clean. Modern design and very comfortable beds, the room are walking distance to several stations in the very center of madrid. The check in and checkout are automatic and also the opening of all the doors are done via internet and without a code. This makes impossible to rate the service but is definitely very convenient. Just make sure that your phone is always charged! The low price is, in my opinion, due to the fact that the rooms have no real windows: the small openings face the corridor, and the corridor itself has no windows, so a bit claustrophobic.

I stayed here on the day of a major blackout across Spain. I was quite worried because many of the rooms were unmanned, auto-locked, and electronically controlled. However, the operator was kind and responded politely to my inquiries before the stay via chat! The Royal Palace and the museum are also within walking distance. I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity.

They gave us the worst room, right at the entrance, you could hear everyone coming and going, it was also too cold and very small, the bathroom was far from the room and it was impossible to communicate with them, there is a 24 hour number and it was turned off all the time

Do not stay here
Absolutely terrible. The bed is uncomfy, walls so think that noise is intolerable all night long - you hear every move a person makes, the check in is very tricky - I had to help two young girls who were utterly stuck, when you complain about
Unacceptable noise they just tell you to call the police!
