Madrid Hotels with Gym

I really love this hotel. I welcome cakes and bear candy on the first day. It is delicious, and the quality of the toiletries is very good. The hotel has a free mobile internet, a deposit of 200 Euros, and a refund. The breakfast area is small but it is really pleasant. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the sun and tea, it is full of holiday. I will definitely stay again next time.

The hotel’s location was very convenient, the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The downside was that the room was very basic and small. The bathroom was average even though the shower was very nice. The general facilities lack amplitude. The size of the pool is really small. It is like a kid’s pool. The gym is very small as well. Overall, it is a good hotel but its facilities could be better.

It remains very well in its segment. Dedicated team. Attention to details. Breakfast is improving quite a bit.

The hotel is in a great location, very convenient for shopping and going to and from the airport. The hotel facilities are also very new, much better than expected. The service staff are also very enthusiastic and respond very quickly.

Within a ten-minute walk from the train station, there are many restaurants and supermarkets downstairs. It is also very close to Parque de El Retiro. It's not far to walk to the city center. The staff are helpful and polite. The room is large and fully equipped. Very good stay experience.

2 nights there. Very nice checking, eye-contact, body language, speech, correct approaching and fast. I felt welcome. The hotel: I loved the kind like dark-atmosphere, it's not a sun-like bright hotel, it's elegant and classic. Don't expect cheap Chinese LEDs ON every corner. Furniture and colors are very inviting to a relaxed state of mind. The room was big enough, classical furniture, 2 comfy armchairs, heavy and blocking light curtains do the job. Bed, quite comfy and big. Wrong pillows. I would have enjoyed more if a 3rd (extra) bed wasn't there. Is the idea to make me feel more lonely? :-) Reception made a cock-up. I'm single traveler, I booked for 2. I didn't bother to ask to remove Soundproofing: once you step out of the lift: no echo on large aisle. Carpets floors all over, solid furniture plus all the surrounding trees makes the trick. Once inside the room: you hear next door people having a conversation, doors opening. Seriously! It really sucks! I went ill, upset stomach and I didn't felt relaxed to use the closed as much as needed. On the other hand: the adults games? How to manage it? Mute on? Parking is super. It's approved even for those with only 2 remaining points on theirs driving license. :-) I would come back as a single traveler. My greetings to the cleaning staff. Good job. Thank you.

Lovely hotel, amazingly centrally situated, and so we were able to walk to all the things we needed to see and do. Breakfast excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food. Staff generally very kind and polite. Our one complaint was that the TV in the bedroom we had, kept losing or freezing the picture on the BBC world news channel, and a small icon kept appearing from LG, which after waiting a while restored the screen. We complained about this on the first morning we were there, and the reception noted it and siad an engineer would go and attend to it. This was not done and for the whole stay sadly we were frustrated by the TV which was really of no use to us what so ever. I have read other similar stories on Tripadvisor about the same complaint, and so clearly the hotel is aware of the problem but seemingly chooses not to do anything about it. This is a shame, beacuse something so easy, and expected would make a huge difference to one's enjoyment of the room. Other than that, really we had no complaints, and would certainly stay again.

Really pleasant stay at Hotel Ópera Madrid. The room is cleaned daily to a have standard and had a modern touch with the decor. I particularly liked the window shutters which completely blocked out the light for an afternoon siesta. The only downside to my stay was the loud noises throughout the night, my room was situated on the first floor above a service entrance so there was a lot of banging which distrusted my sleep. However, the location was amazing and is close to the main sites. I would definitely look to stay here again.

It was friendly and clean. Each and every detail was taken care of, and the hotel design was truly unique. It's a great location for sightseeing around.

Additionally, while the hotel boasts of its luxury, some amenities felt a bit dated, especially considering the price point. The location is slightly away from the main tourist attractions, which is great if you’re looking for a quiet stay, but it’s not ideal for those wanting to be in the heart of the action. Overall, Hotel Puerta América is a stylish and unique hotel, but there are areas where improvements could be made to justify the cost and overall experience.
