Madrid Centro 4-star Hotels

Staff was nice and allowed an early check in. Great location with the train station a five minute walk. The Prado and the plaza Mayor both very walkable. Plus, there are a number of excellent restaurants in the area. The downside is the street noise. We had a room on the 5th floor without AC which required us to have our windows open and the noise from the very busy street was deafening. And at 3 am people returning from their night out partying- laughing and yelling could be heard. I think the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. But, I would recommend a room high up with AC or in the back of the hotel.

Mi estancia en el hotel fue muy grata esta situado en el centro de la ciudad,el desyuno es variado,el personal muy amable y eficiente.Todas las atracciones de esta bella ciudad estan a una disnacia a la que puedes llegar caminando!!!.El hotel cuenta con un restaurante a unos 2 minutos caminando muy recomendable y ademas tiene un tablao flamenco con un show dificil de olvidar.Sin duda repetire mi esperiencia

I rated this hotel a 5 because of its very special location next to lively Santa Ana square, the staff (especially Barbara who checked us in) and the varied breakfast in charming surroundings. The rooms are interestingly designed per the website and plushly decorated. 214 was extremely quiet since it had great sound proofing and a view to an interior courtyard. All the standard rooms face internally and have adequate space. I originally booked a superior room but they all face Calle de las Huertas and I was afraid of the noise. In addition to the window sound proofing, there is a very thick velvet curtain that aids to cut down noise but I did not want to take the chance. I was cheerily refunded the price difference. The superior room on the 4th floor was of course bigger, had very large windows and double the storage space but for me quiet is better. My only negative comment is that, although superficially clean, both the bathroom and bedroom floors needed TLC. The tiles need a special reagent (and/or scrubbing) to remove dirt built up and the bedroom rug desperately needs a deep clean heat shampoo. I did mention the issue to the front desk but I understand that this process may require significant commitment from the management. In this area the expectations for a 4 star hotel were not met.

You’ve gotta stay here and book a room with a balcony and view of Gran Via street. It was an amazing stay, the room is beautiful, double sinks great showerhead, comfortable bed … everything was perfect and the location is close to restaurants, shops, the metro, buses, Starbucks. We absolutely loved our stay!

The hotel is good, the facilities are great, the swimming pool is great, the breakfast is good, the staff is attentive and pleasant, I will recommend it without a doubt. Thank you for everything, we will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing position in the centre of Madrid. My partner was working so i spent the daytimes alone. I could walk everywhere and felt very safe. The room has everything you need but is small with minimal storage. It felt quite claustrophobic as it was dark. We tried the breakfast on our first day but were extremely disappointed. No one to greet us so we had no idea what to do. Bread felt stale. Probably the worst breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. The rooftop bar was lovely with friendly staff, good food and amazing views. Overall we had a great time and would return if only to hear Javier's excellent playlist again. Thank you for having us.

More than once in this very good location hotel. It is a very good mercure from Accor. Nothing to be mentionned. Just be kind enough to client (and more platinum) attention : our bathrooms was smelling very bad during 3 days (canalisation) we didn’t notice to the front room but when we checked out, the agent proposed not to pay the breakfast we never had… and then we ask to take the car from the garage at 1:30 in place of 12:00 seems to be a huge problem when we paid for 48hrs - and no commercial gesture due to the room smell… client first…

This hotel is located in the heart of Madrid. Our triple room was spacious, clean and well located. The hotel itself is in a historic building and is stunning. The staff was wonderful from check in to check out, answering our questions and ensuring our comfort. Parking is available within a 2 minute walk from the hotel in a public garage, easily accessible.
