This is a boutique hotel in the center of Medeiros, on the western end of Pico Island Azores. The entire hotel has just undergone a complete renovation. Each room is individually themed. First impressions are how clean everything is. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is modern, with a stand-up shower. Bring your220/110 converter for recharging your electronics. Coffee service is shared in each hallway. Expect European style coffee. No Starbucks here. Awesome resteraunt downstairs, but make reservations for dinner. Weather in October is humid and 23c. Finding the hotel is a challenge, especially at night. The entrance is beside the resteraunt downstairs and hard to notice with all the patrons milling around. Big sign in front. Nowhere to drop luggage off. You have to block street to do that. An awesome clerk will meet you at the door, to check in. It's imperative that you contact the hotel when you arrive at Pico Airport. We rented a car. I suggest you do not. There's very little parking nearby. It's a very small, European style town, with extremely narrow streets and aggressive local drivers. All rentals here are standard shift. Everything you need is walking distance from the hotel. Take advantage of all the tours available. There's another island a short boat ride across the channel. Highly recommend this hotel if you enjoy a smaller hotel, centrally located.

This was a cute small place with an entrance door tucked in next to a nice little restaurant they also owned. Cutely decorated room, very clean and had all that was needed plus a stand in the hall for tea or coffee making. Manager was in good communication with us. They also had their own area for parking. Location super to getting around. The restaurant served us a lovely evening meal and it was quite a busy popular place. Breakfast options easy and fast to walk to. It was a favorite of mine.

Our stay at My Bed in Pico was great! Debra, the host, was very heplful and gave us suggestions of where to go and where to eat. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. Debra stocked our room with local teas and biscuits that were very welcome in the morning. My Bed is centrally located and everything is within comfortable walking distance. Note: we did eat at the restaurant on the ground floor and the food was great!

My friend and I spent 3 nights at My Bed in Pico. It was a delight from the moment we rolled our bags from the ferry to the front door. Ana met us and made us feel welcome right away. She answered all our questions as she showed us to our beautifully decorated room. This is a great alternative to a hotel where every room is the same.

My Bed in Pico was situated, easy to find hotel, walking distance from the ferry terminal. It is located right above the O Cinco restaurant, a very busy with plenty of delicious Azorean dishes. Our room was situated in the back with s window overlooking some houses, which might not be bad compared to the room in the front, with a view of the street and plenty of cars passing. The front room had a balcony. Bed was cozy with good pillows. Bathroom has well made shower, no bathtub, but I only need shower. Complete amenities. We were able to get good sleep. There were coffee/ tea supplies outside the room , in the hallway area but we did not avail of it. I love the accommodation, the only hindrance to us was hauling one big not quite heavy suitcase and other handbags. No elevator for a small quaint place. We felt safe, we have keys to the outside door. It was Sunday, and most restaurants were closed in Madalena,Pico, but there was a 15-20 min walk Continente. We even got a taxi coming back to the hotel. Maria checked us into our room. She was friendly, helpful and professional. The ladies in the restaurants were also helpful getting hold of Maria with our questions.

Spent a delightful two night stay in this very comfortable, clean & tastefully decorated hotel in the pleasant town of Madalena. Plenty of available parking & good wifi. The hotel is very close to the harbor with dolphin & whale watching and above a wonderful restaurant. The owner & staff could not have been more helpful.

My Bed in Pico is wonderfully located. It is a short walk to the pier and restaurants. We had the Wunderlust Room on the 1st floor. The room was spotless. Bathroom was modern and well equipped. The shower was great and we had plenty of hot water. Coffee and tea were available outside our door 24 hours a day. Bottled water was also available. The room was slightly noisy until the restaurant closed at 11:00 pm. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as we like. It was too hard. Debora is an outstanding hostess. She goes out of her way to make sure guess are happy and we’ll looked after.

I just returned home to Canada from a visit to the Azores. My Bed in Pico stood out as the most comfortable hotel room which I stayed in. This is a small inn located right in the heart of Madalena on the island of Pico. My room was located on the third level of this building, and I found the room to be modern, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The owner Deborah and her team have taken every effort to provide a memorable stay to their guests. In addition to the comfort of the room, other amenities such as toiletries, tea and coffee, and complimentary snacks were special touches. Deborah helped me with my suitcase both upon my arrival, as well as on my departure even though it was quite wet! As I had to wait about an hour for my taxi after the check out time, she even arranged for a complimentary breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. I was treated like a member of her family, with no effort spared to make me comfortable. The Azorians are renowned for their hospitality, but this level of care would only be found at the My Bed in Pico. Thank you all.

We had an excellent 3-night stay in this very cozy, homey and quaint establishment — we would've loved to stay much longer! As we had a studio in the attic (complete kitchen, couch, lounge chairs, dining table…), we had a good view of the town center and the ocean. The host/owner was wonderful and very accommodating to our needs and much more. Their restaurant "O Cinco" is a must go too — we had all our dinners there (both dine-in and takeout) — yummy food and super friendly/nice! My Bed in Pico is definitely the place to stay! (N.B. no lifts, if needed)
