2 times in staying there they wanted to refuse to give me my security deposit back. The only reason I got it back the first time was there was a lady that worked there who understood that they just didnt treat people right. I dont fully remember the first time but they wanted to say because I had the pet deposit that I should not get any of my regular deposit or the pet deposit back. The 2nd time that lady no longer worked there. So this is what happened my last stay. First of all they were going to charge a 100.00 deposit which was only 75 the last time I was there-I said look I dont have that but let me go and door dash a few hrs and Ill come back. Well they let me go with the 75. Ok cool In general I dont always want cleaning or service to my room, so maybe every few days Ill put the trash outside the door or ask for new towels. Oh they made sure I gave them every last towel in my room dirty or not. So if I had one dirty towel and one clean towel and I wanted 2 more towels- Id have to give them the 2 i had. Ok I get it maybe people take towels so at this point im annoyed but like ok whatever. So forward to night before checkout. I call front desk and ask for 12 pm checkout. Guy said sure no problem. (Didnt make a note of any sort.) Next morning Im taking a shower and the owner of property comes banging {not knocking} on my door like the police and im some criminal. I get out of the shower soaking wet and go to the door and say I asked for a late checkout. He yells through the door NO!!! you didnt.I just asked the girl at the front and she said you didnt. I respond no I asked the guy last night and ok'd it. He says oh well what time you be out? 12 I say. Ok you get out at 12. yes So then when I go to the front to check out- you have to wait for them to check your room to make sure you havent destroyed it if you want any hope of getting your money back. Since I didnt have much in way of service I had maybe 4 or 5 plastic grocery size shopping bags with garbage tied and neatly put around the garbage cans. It was not all over the floor or counters or anything. So this kid who is in his early 20s and same one who ok'd late check out comes in the lobby yelling at me ” do you know how dirty you left that room? Im like theres garbage in bags next to garbage but no its not dirty. He was like well Youre not getting your deposit back. So I lost 75 dollars because the prick thinks that picking up few bags that are not very big to put in the garbage was worth giving the customer grief and keeping my deposit. I needed that money for the rest of my travel plans. no difference. That was the WORST experience I've EVER had anywhere These people owning this property treated me like I was a criminal. Wouldnt make a person want to stay at other wyndham properties with that kind of experience
