I booked this hotel as part of our week long trip in Madeira due to its proximity to the airport. The location was perfect and the hotel was spotless with an amazing hot shower. The small town where the hotel is located has plenty of little cute bars and restuarants too. Big shout out to the guy who was working doing the Karaoke during our stay - he was providing top entertainment in multiple languages and I loved it!

Really great value hotel, clearly family owned and family-run given the dedication and attention to service by staff. Located In Machico it’s is 2 minutes from the Islands only sandy beach. A great bonus. Room and bedding were excellent and spotlessly clean . I note other reviews commenting on carpet stains- yes perhaps the carpets are a bit older but the rest of the whole hotel package more than makes up for it. The breakfast every morning was plentiful with a very good range of options. Hotels like this need to be supported as they are doing a great job at providing very good quality at an incredible price. Probably the best value hotel stay we’e had.
