In general a decent hotel, however our AC was not working in the room and given our late checkin (11:30pm) nobody answered the phone when calling reception multiple times, which was very disappointing. We could occasionally also smell cigarettes from the ventilation system. Breakfast was alright. Without the issues it’s a quite decent hotel.

Hotel is beside the train station, very convenient with shops and restaurants within the station. Check-in process was slow even though I have completed my online check-in 1 day in advance using the link provided, staff had some difficult time locating my booking. Other than that, the experience is flawless with comfortable room, strong shower, good wifi and decent breakfast for a budget hotel. Overall this is a very value for money stay.

Due to a cancelled flixbus, we arrived at the Hyperion Hotel at 1 am dead tired to leave the next morning early. The checking in process was sluggish and the hospitality of the guy that helped us was not so kind. Finally we got the room but Immediately after we arrived in the room we got a message from flixbus that the bus would leave in 10 minutes. We immediately rushed back downstairs and the receptionist who had checked us in 10 minutes earlier. He assured us that no money would be deducted and he would send me a confirmation via e-mail - which I did not receive. Now, almost a month later, I see that the amount has been debited anyway. Since I thought there should be a mistake, I e-mailed for clarification. After several calls and emails I finally I got someone on the phone telling me that the bed was ”used” and they could therefore not resale the room that night. This simply is a lie, there was no time at all to use the bed. After several attempts to get in contact now the manager offered us a 50% refund. What a sad policy, where I should pay for the false promises of this hotel. This kind of business is ruining a nice city like Leipzig. Making profits on the backs of poor students, if that is really your business idea then you deserve to get an honest review: I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Perfectly situated in one of the oldest streets in Central Leipzig, which the historical area, this hotel was just perfect for our needs. We opted not to take the breakfast option as there are so many eateries in the area and we wanted lots of different breakfast experiences. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate is available 24/7 on the second floor (not in your room). Our room was immaculate, quiet and very comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for more. Staff very very polite and helpful. Would I go back? 100%

From the absolutely central location opposite the main train station and not far from the long-distance bus terminal to the extremely friendly reception and the beautiful room with a great view, everything was perfect! After my last stay in Leipzig in a 5 category hotel, I didn't set my expectations for breakfast that high. I was surprised and delighted Selection, freshness, staff and interior design satisfied to the utmost. Our next visit to Leipzig will definitely bring us back to this hotel! The only drawback is the underground car park price of €18. Since you can use the main station car park, the path is reasonable.

We were on the third weekend in this extraordinary hotel, an upgrade prepared additional joy and surprise. Just the friendly reception mediated the feeling of being welcome. The suite itself did not open any wishes, located above two floors in the upper floor, artistically unique, with a small kitchen line, including. Coffee machine with pads and drinks, the bathroom spacious with bathtub and shower, a small balcony, two bedrooms and the living room provide a pleasant generosity. The breakfast was rich, good and fresh, here too, the friendly service is particularly worth mentioning. All right, only the deep garage requires a pre- and careful way of driving.

In my business I see a lot of hotels, and I get to compare various properties within the same family. The Marriott in Leipzig deserves to be singled out for multiple reasons. First, the hotel makes it a point to recognize I'm coming and to treat me like they're happy to see me when I arrive. The location in the city center is one of the most picturesque I've seen, with multiple things to see and do within walking distance. One of the most spectacular train stations in Europe is right across the street! There are multiple restaurants and street venders scattered around the city center area, but if you don't want to leave the building the breakfast this hotel puts on is the best of any place I go.

Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer, habe aber die Vorzüge des Hostels sehr genossen - gut ausgestattete Küche mit Kühlschrank, alles sehr durchdacht, junge, urbane Atmosphäre, Lounge und Raucherbalkon haben tolle Aufenthaltsqualität und die Einrichtung ist insgesamt äußerst geschmackvoll und wertig, bis hin zum Bad. Mein Zimmer wäre nichts für Lärmempfindliche gewesen, aber da gibt es sicher noch andere. Die Lage könnte besser nicht sein, quasi am Markt, fußläufig zum Hauptbahhof, Supermarkt und Bäcker um die Ecke. Ich komme sicher wieder!

With a larger group we booked a night in the hotel as a company and were absolutely enthusiastic! The rooms were all clean and modernly furnished. The breakfast was rich and of excellent quality: bio, fresh and multi-faceted (there were even vegan alternatives). The service staff (both in the hotel and in the bar) were considered to be exceptionally friendly, careful and very helpful. In advance there were many changes from our side, all of which were always accepted and implemented friendly. Contact with the service management was uncomplicated and always pre-common! Thank you again very much for having met with regard to some room cancellations from our page – it all went smoothly! We can recommend the hotel – not only because of its fantastic central location –!
