My wife and I had a very pleasant stay for the first time at Yoho Hollywood Roosevelt hotel. The housekeeping staff for my room no. 905 was excellent in their service. The receptionist Terry, door men (Charles, Edward & Kevin) were also very helpful and attentive to our enquiries and needs. We will definitely come back to stay again when we visit Macau the next time.
The room was quite satisfactory – clean, quiet, and well-soundproofed. The front desk staff were easy to communicate with and could switch to Mandarin. It's been a while since I've encountered a room deposit, but it wasn't an issue as it's fully refunded after check-out, provided no damages are incurred. The location is excellent: Rua do Cunha is just a short walk away, and from there, it's easy to reach The Venetian and other attractions. For the Ruins of St. Paul's, you'll need to take a bus, and digital payments like Alipay and WeChat are widely accepted in that area. For navigation, Gaode Maps might be more reliable than Baidu Maps, so it's a good idea to download offline maps using the hotel's Wi-Fi in advance. Generally, both Alipay and WeChat are widely accepted for payments, and I didn't come across any shops that were cash-only.
Cons:
The room had a foul odor that only dissipated when the air conditioning was turned down to a very cold setting.
There was no seating available at the front desk. Moreover, the chairs in the lobby were apparently reserved for actively consuming customers, and I was actually asked to leave when I tried to sit down for a moment. The staff's attitude was awful!
Check-in time was unacceptably late at 3 PM. To make matters worse, there was nowhere to sit while waiting at the front desk, and the entire check-in waiting area only had seating for four people, which is completely impractical.
Luggage storage was a mess. They initially handed me the wrong bag, and I had to go back twice to retrieve my correct one. Overall, the service quality was very poor.
Even after dealing with the smell, the air conditioning in the room was excessively cold, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
Strangely, the two beds in our room had different bedding; one set felt rough and low-quality, while the other was noticeably better, made of high-thread-count cotton – very peculiar.
Pros:
The hotel's location was excellent, very close to the Galaxy complex, which made dining out very convenient. The surrounding environment was also quite pleasant.

The staff are all super friendly and helpful. They have staff who could support in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Check in and out time was quick and painless and they'll recommend you using e-payment to make the check out easier. The room looks, feels and smells clean. The location is not too bad and if you take the underground path to go under the roundabout, it'll save you at least 5 mins to walk back to the Cunha Street.
The location is excellent. The room size is good and has double beds. Drawer space is OK. But the most important is clean. Bottled water is plenty. There is a small fridge. All Non smoking rooms. Will be back.
This hotel is just opposite the airport (Departure hall) . Highly recommended to stay here.
1. it is very convenient to go to the airport and ferry port. You can take the MLTR line to the ferry port. Just 1 station away-MOP6 per person. I dont recommend you to walk from the hotel to ferry port despite it written just 500m away from the hotel in the description.
2. The room is spacious. And if you are lucky, you will have a airport view room. Our room was facing sea view.
3. The staff are helpful. You can take mrt to the town or you can take free shuttle to the casinos. Just ask the airport staff the bus waiting area location.
Overall, we enjoved our stay here.
I visited during the off-peak season, and the price was incredibly good value – a real steal, especially as it won't be available at this rate again until after the Chinese New Year. It also happened to coincide with the International Fireworks Festival, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows served as a perfect viewing platform. All the photos, aside from the first two, were taken with my phone from inside the room; one of them beautifully captures the night view of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. I was so reluctant to leave, constantly looking back. The whole experience was simply fantastic. I'm already making plans to stay again!
I mistakenly booked a smoking room that is supposed to be non-smoking room. The FO agent who did my friend’s c/i on April 28 around nearly to 10pm was so nice and changed the room. Really appreciate it! Thank you so much also for arranging a nice room with a nice view! Good job! :)
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. From the outside, it looks quite old and dated, but once you step inside, the interior is surprisingly modern. That said, some parts still show the hotel's age — like the bathroom fixtures, water taps, and some of the furniture, which could definitely use an upgrade.
Walking through the corridors, I sometimes got a slightly spooky vibe, probably because of the older sections of the building. However, the service made up for it. The staff were genuinely nice and helpful, and I appreciated how friendly the security personnel were — it made the place feel more welcoming.
One big plus is the location: there’s a bus stop just outside, so getting around was really convenient.
The only downside for me was the price. I found it a bit on the expensive side, especially considering some of the outdated aspects of the property.
Overall, not a bad stay — great service and location, but the building could use some refurbishing to fully match the price.
This hotel is excellent in every aspect. The rooms are tastefully decorated and a good size. I was particularly relieved to find the bed linen and duvets in the room dry, clean, and completely odorless, dispelling any previous concerns about dampness. It made for a very comfortable stay. The service was impressive. Whenever I called the service center, whether it was the operator or the front desk, they always responded promptly, handled my request efficiently, and relayed any necessary information. I was able to check in at 2:30 PM, half an hour earlier than the standard 3 PM check-in time specified during booking. Its location is also fantastic; the Galaxy Hotel's Diamond Lobby is just a skybridge away. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Kasi may filipina kaming nameet na nagwowork dun sa hotel. Si Ate Nenita. Yung natra naming mga pinoy goodies binigay namin sa kanya. Happy lang talaga at worth to stay sa hotel.
