Good service, good environment, all sightseeing spot in walking distance. I love the infinity pool, not too big but enough. We can spend a morning in hotel and then slow walk around. Hotel just above Lafayette Galleries, so you can shopping even in bad weather. B1 have a big super market, very convenient. Wine is on promotion ^^.
Fireworks Festival is coming, remember to book a room tourist tower view.
Our stay in the hotel was very enjoyable. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very polite and helpful.
One small improvement that could be made was the instant drinking water dispenser provided in the room. The volume of the machine's water container is small, so we needed to refill it with tap water very frequently. Also, when we wanted to drink water, the machine only fits the hotel cup, while small water bottles cannot fit, so we had to first fill up the hotel cup, then pour it into our water bottles. This is quite inconvenient.
The location is superb, offering stunning views of the harbor and easy access to major attractions. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a delightful array of both local and international dishes. The hotel’s amenities, including the pool and fitness center, were also impressive. Overall, I highly recommend the Macau Harbour View Hotel for anyone visiting the area!

I stayed for 6 consecutive days. The breakfast was excellent, offering 3 types of eggs and 5 kinds of noodles, with orders placed conveniently by scanning a QR code. Downstairs, I enjoyed the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai style crab porridge and some lively street food BBQ, both really tasty. San Miu Supermarket offered great value for money. There's also a Feng Supermarket downstairs where their Oden included freshly cooked boiled cabbage for 5 AUD – absolutely delicious! At the nearest fruit and vegetable store downstairs, durian was 19.9 MOP per jin; I bought a delicious one for 98 MOP. You really should trust the staff there; he's excellent at picking them. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Grand Lisboa, Wynn Macau, and MGM Macau.
The location is superb, offering quick and direct access to Hengqin Port. While the hotel is a little dated, the service was truly excellent. The staff even upgraded us to a family room when they saw we were a large group, which was a lovely surprise! There's also a small pool, perfect for kids to splash around in.
We booked this hotel mainly for its convenience for a local event, and its location proved incredibly useful – everything we needed was just downstairs. The surrounding old town area has plenty of supermarkets and local eateries, and Fisherman's Wharf is directly across the street. All in all, it offers fantastic value for money.
I spent a considerable amount of time searching on Ctrip, only to find too many hotels with tiny beds, cramped rooms, and questionable hygiene. So, the Leo Family Room I eventually found was an absolute delight! The room was surprisingly spacious (a real rarity in Hong Kong and Macau), featuring two 1.5-meter wide beds. The bathroom was also excellent, with a proper wet/dry separation and both a separate shower and a bathtub. As a non-smoking family room, it was completely odor-free, which was a huge relief for someone like me with an extremely sensitive nose. Check-out was incredibly smooth; I just handed in the room card (likely because I booked online and settled the deposit during check-in).
In summary: It's clean, hygienic, spacious, quiet, and completely free of any unpleasant smells.
Right in the alley across from the hotel's main entrance, you'll find a 'cha chaan teng' (local tea restaurant). Xin Kang Kee there is a real gem, offering 'ping leung jing'—great food, good quality, and affordable prices. Wynn and Grand Emperor casinos are also just a 12-15 minute walk away.
We stayed here with my child for an exam. The location is excellent, very close to Macao Polytechnic University with convenient transport links. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, which was a definite plus. The room, though not large, was spotless and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable.
Nice! This time, the front desk upgraded me to a family room, which had a much more spacious bed and was located on a non-smoking floor. They now offer shuttle buses from the Grand Emperor to both the Barrier Gate and Cotai, making travel incredibly convenient. It's particularly handy for visiting Rua da Felicidade and Senado Square, both less than a 10-minute walk away.
This hotel was full of wonderful surprises! Its location is perfect—right in the heart of the old town—and the facilities have a lovely vintage vibe while being impeccably clean. The room was beautifully decorated and offered a stunning view of Macau through the window.
An extra treat was the in-room minibar, which was completely free, including red wine and beer! What’s more, as a hotel guest, I received a complimentary drink voucher to use at the rooftop bar.
All in all, this easily ranks among the top three best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. If I ever return to Macau, I’ll definitely be booking here again!
This hotel truly has a lot of character. If you're looking for a change from the typical casino hotels in Macau, this place is definitely worth trying. The breakfast was exquisite, and the stunning view from the balcony was truly unforgettable. My only regret is that, due to its historic renovation, there's no elevator. However, the service is excellent, and the staff were happy to help with our luggage.

Very Good
FFabinnOne of the most iconic buildings in Asian (one of the ugliest too??) with a great view over the lake from the room. A lot of options for foodies and the food quality was high. Service was good even before the holiday. However, if you are looking for a relaxing and zen holiday, this would not be ideal. The lobby is always packed; it looks like a train station. The interior design of the room... I am not capable of appreciating it (yet). Love the in-room steam shower very much.
TTeacherbizThe bathroom needs an upgrade, the bath tub is a bit shallow, the shower only in one place, no hose, no bidet. They got a TV, fridge, built in hair dryer but no iron for clothes The view is great from our window only if the windows were clean. Communication and service needs to be improved. We earlier communicated an early check in as we were traveling from Tokyo to Hongkong then to Macau, so we were so tired and wanted to freshen up and rest before exploring. However, they were strict with the 2pm check in but they stored our luggage while we dragged our sleepy and tired bodies in the hot and humid tourist spots. The security guards on both shifts were friendly and accommodating. The receptionists need to improve their tone when speaking and should be familiar with all the services offered by the hotel(dining options for example). Pillows were not great and gave me back and neck aches. The cleaners were great, housekeeping done daily and fresh towels and toiletries were supplied throughout the 3 night stay. It is still a bit of a walk from all the bus stops servicing major tourist spots. There is a free shuttle service to the outer harbor, not sure if they also take you to the airport.
SSimYenHotel kindly upgraded us so that the group of us can be on the same level. We got a newly renovated room, very spacious and beds are comfortable. All toiletries provided.
The old town is just a 10mins walk away, and along the way you will pass by the famous Margaret de Nata egg tart cafe.
Tip: Hotel is nearby Lisboa Macau, so you can take the Lisboa free shuttle and walk over.
AAnonymous UserIt's quite thoughtful that the hotel provides separate non-smoking and smoking floors. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and even had convenient USB charging ports by the bed. Its location is excellent, right next to the Grand Lisboa. If you're arriving from Hong Kong, you can take the Grand Lisboa's shuttle bus from the ferry terminal, and the hotel is just a few minutes' walk from there – super convenient! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; they guided us to the Ruins of St. Paul's, which is easily reachable on foot. Even the housekeeping staff on our floor were great – always greeting us with warm smiles, which made us feel very welcome. We were traveling with our child and when we asked for an extra toothbrush, she promptly provided it without any hesitation.
YYeseburuniAmbiance: Our room offered fantastic views of the Macau Tower and came with a small balcony. The night scenery was breathtaking, and the children absolutely loved their stay.
Service: The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. The hotel also provides a complimentary shuttle service. While its schedule might not be as frequent as some of Macau's larger establishments, the overall value for money is outstanding.
AAnonymous UserThe room looked exactly like the pictures. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and all the service staff were attentive, especially Joanna, who was incredibly dedicated. The room was spotlessly clean. The surrounding area is well-equipped with shops and supermarkets, all within walking distance, and dining options are also convenient. There's also a market on the street right next to the hotel, which is definitely worth a visit!
GGuest UserThe location is near the Walls of St Paul Church, a walkable distance. Hotel Staffs were very friendly. The hotel signage was visible after making a sharp right turn in the one way road. The beds were suitable for those who prefer hard beds. Overall stay was a good stay. Especially the friendly staffs!
MMel HeytsyuRoom is spacious and clean Location is okay its near grand lisboa within 5-15 mins walk and maybe 20mins walk in senado square. Front desk is friendly and accomodating. However staff in pool area doesnt speak much in english and we encounter unpleasant service in swimming pool area, staff prioritize what they called “ the Regular chinese old woman” that always goes there and she acted like she own the swimming pool and staff there gather in a corner talking pointing and looking at us and we know theyre talking about us and as we make ourselves enter in the swimming pool.like we have a common sense and know what we are doing and we are just on the side of the pool and they keep on like bothering us that we should be just on the other side when we are just on the corner minding our own business coz that old woman feel entittled and thinks that she owns the place! It make us feel bothered instead of being relaxed swimming we felt unwelcomed. We ended up getting pissed and left and we go to the shower room and we just touch a towel and one old woman again get angry out of nowhere and says not to touch the towels and she asked if we are from philippines and said we must needed to be assisted and not to touch things. We just entered the shower room for like 10 seconds and ended up having this heated argument with the rude lady and the staffs just keeps on yapping to each other with their language instead of settling the misunderstanding between us and the old lady . not leaving us like we didnt exists.before we enter one kind staff said we can take towels in that shelves and later on the staff explains that those old chinese rude womans are regular there and we just need to let their rudness slide not sure if the hotel tolerate this kind of guests behavior. We got offended as first timers to checked-in to your hotel and your so called “regular”makes your guests feel uncomfortable and unwelcome and ruined our experience instead of having a good one. They obviously can be defined as “Racist”.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel, rooms very nice and clean, portuguese style. The service is very nice, they even left me a little present in the room. However, I recommend you to take ear plugs since you can hear other rooms, especially if you have disrespectful neighbors being loud until 3am like I did. Maybe I suggest the hotel to leave some ear plugs in the rooms for guests. I must say the service is very nice, I called reception and they came immediately to help me and ask the other room to be quiet.. twice. Thank you! So bad the disrespectful guests didn't listen! But the rest is great, very well located too. I would repeat!
