Fantastic find! Right in the heart of local eats and life. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely large room - be mindful sound carries as hardwood flooring throughout so if you have noisy neighbours you hear it. Can store luggage and water dispenser at reception.

The location was great. Easy to go and near the bus stop. Staff can speak English and the room was clean. Receptionist was friendly. I really love it and recommend to my friends.

I like the area in which the hotel is located.
It's close to bus stops, closer to the Grand Lisboa and restaurants.

I was pleasantly surprised by the experience, especially considering the price point. Here's a breakdown:
Pros:
- **Room Size**: Much more spacious compared to most hotels in Hong Kong, which was a big relief.
- **Comfort**: The bed is on the firm side, but the pillows are incredibly soft, and the duvet felt new and fluffy, making for a comfortable sleep.
- **Air Conditioning**: Worked perfectly, keeping the room cool and pleasant.
- **Amenities**: The room was well-equipped with a toothbrush, comb, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, a water heater, a small wardrobe, a table and chair, and a hair dryer.
- **Location**: Very close to a bus stop, making it easy to get around. Also, there are plenty of food options nearby, including convenient stores and non-halal food stalls (for those interested) .
Cons:
- **Toilet Size**: The toilet is quite small, designed for an average Asian build. If you’re taller or of European size, it might be a bit cramped—you may even need to bend your knees in certain positions.
### Additional Notes for Muslim Travelers:
If you're looking for halal food, I highly recommend visiting **Indonesia Warong Amar Berkah**, a bus ride with fewer stops and few meters from the station you'll find the shop snuggle between pastry shops. The food there is delicious and a must-try, worth the price!
Overall, **Pensão Elegante** offers great value for its price, with a strategic location and good amenities. Just be prepared for the small toilet and firm bed! Would definitely stay here again for a budget-friendly trip.

Pros:
Quiet location
Good location for seeing old part of the city
Recently rennovated (yet at very basic level)
Nearby a lot of shops, coffee shops,7eleven, McDonalds, food market, bus stop.
Cons:
Super small super low budget room with low ceiling without window view
Super expensive for that level (although maybe just Macao is expensive itself)
Summary:
We haven’t found anything cheaper and we assume it is good choice for a budget stay for 1 night in Macao

A place just 4 rest & 😴 1 nite is 👍 during weekend high peak period with cheaper tariff but only the linen is no problem, others all r under the standard.

No surprise nor no disappointed, everything r comply to 2 Star Hotel standard but cleanliness & hygiene seem a little bit out of standard with only the linen is okay.
