The Mansion Boutique Hotel

The facilities and villas is very clean, breakfast is good, staff very courteous, amenities inside are all free to use by their guests, perfect place for a get away. Very safe to go around the place. Just need to put a basketball court inside the complex

On arrival a gate-house guard let us in without instructions. After a few minutes of confusion we found the reception. We could see that it is just as it looks the photos; a beautiful quality built and very well maintained sparkling clean boutique hotel. We went to their 'Sunset Grill’ restaurant and seated by lovely staff, a little to eager to take our food order. The room was cool and music was calm and ambient. Exhale, after a long drive - perfect … Suddenly things erupted as the gentle music switched to blaring, loud "Happy Birthday too you” .. the staff waiting our order burst into loud clapping hands. Repeat and repeat the song in different versions, and the clapping! I went out to the garden but it was also playing outside! I was out on the grass oval before I was far enough away from it, my wife and kids following. It eventually subsided so we returned and tried to and relax, but the birthday group was now shouting. A few pesky flies arrived and persisted, and more shouting so we set up outside. I ordered a NZ white wine at 1,900p, and it wasn't pre-chilled..!? We tried to relax and chill the wine, but many more flies, so we go back inside, but flies are inside too. The food came out and it was good, but stone cold mash potato - I dislike being served cold food, and I cant stand flies on us. We went back for dinner after 9pm. I ordered the steak and explained to the new staff shift that my lunch had been cold and to make sure the dinner was hot, especially the potato. It came out stone cold, again! .. with the worse steak I'd ever seen. Right at that moment about 9:40pm as the food arrived they started switching out the lights! We got up and left, forfeiting the food they already had us sign for. The next day while enjoying the beautiful hotel I notice the pool-bar by was not staffed, I found a staff and ordered 2 Budweiser but they only have 1 in stock. The coffee shop was not staffed either, nor the pizza bar. I walked to the restaurant and ordered pizza at the pool, but I am told I’m not allowed to eat it anywhere but in the resto, or in our room!?! The breakfast was awful - nicely cooked but bad choices of products; we forfeit our second day. Then the last day lunch was finally everything terrific! Lastly on the F&B, there was no water source for guests. So the reception kindly refilled our bottles with a source in the back office. The room is very nice and a good size, good AC and has views, but the bed was very hard foam with thin cheap sheets that are too small. Roll over, re-tuck the sheet, repeat, roll, re-tuck. No gowns nor toiletries either. I cannot understand why such a beautiful facility can have so many silly flaws. It is so close to being everything we look for - Boutique, Kid friendly, clean, play ground, games room and great staff with good swimming pools. Booked here for an overnight stay as it looked promising and the villa can fit our family of four instead of staying in 2 separate rooms. There were a few negative reviews online and watching videos of previous guests showed quite a small facility but we figured the positive reviews could possibly outweigh the negatives. Initial impressions going in was not very good, it definitely doesn’t look big and its 4 star rating seems questionable from its appearance. Going in you have to be radioed in as if you are staying inside a fortress of some sort. We informed the guard that we have a friend passing by to pick us up and he advised us to inform the front desk for permission to allow him in as apparently no outsider can be allowed in the premises without authorisation. Entering the reception area we were greeted by a line of guests waiting to check in and even more sitting around waiting for their rooms to be ready. Mind you this is already quite close to the 3 pm check in time. Check in took a while as there were quite a number of guests interrupting to follow up their rooms. When it was finally our turn to our delight we got our villa key immediately and was escorted by the kind porter via golf cart to the other parking area and assisted in loading our bags in the cart to be brought to the villa. As soon as we entered though, our excitement quickly turned to disgust as we were greeted with the sight of not only an unmade room but also a room filled with garbage and even a used diaper. We remained calm and asked the porter to call it in and request for another room we could transfer to. It was taking a while and it was already more than half an hour past check in time and the kids were already excited to swim so I decided to walk back to ask what was happening. The front desk girl seemed a little indifferent as if it was quite a normal occurrence for a guest to encounter a filthy room and casually informed me that she will look into it. I could hear the other person on the radio asking to move us to another room but it was already occupied at that point so I had to wait a bit longer and it was getting closer to 4 pm at this point. My husband and kids were shuttled back to the reception area with all our bags and we were getting quite annoyed, irritated, and short tempered. The receptionist informed us that there is nothing she can do as no rooms were available anymore so we insisted in cancelling our reservation. Most definitely this is not a 4 star hotel, it’s barely a 1 star. It was very doubtful that they would finish cleaning the villa in an hour that would make anyone comfortable enough to spend the night in without feeling like it was just hurriedly tidied and not thoroughly cleaned . The manager tried to offer us a check out extension while they cleaned but again, we don’t feel comfortable staying in that room anymore and we had planned to check out early to go to Aqua Planet the following day. Booked 2 nights here when we visited the attractions in and Near Clark. The place does not look like your regular hotel but really like a big mansion The Service here is good and we did not have any problem with the staff The Rooms were nice, with comfy beds. The only problem was that our safety deposit box was not working There are a lot of activities to do here for kids. To start, the 2 pools are ok. There are free inflatable toys to use too. There is a nice playground and very wide open spaces for kids to play as well as adults (you can jog here). At night they set up a bonfire and movie night under the stars with free popcorn. Though I would suggest for them to have a louder speaker for the movies as , depending on where you are seated, the noise from the kids playing at the playground just beside where you watch the movie can sometimes be louder than the movie you are watching. There are also indoor activities for kids like the playroom and the game room. The Game room has billiards and foosball, some board games and a tv. Would have been nice if they can add table tennis or darts or maybe air hockey Most of our meals during our stay were not in the hotel but in restaurants we wanted to try out in pampanga, but we ate breakfast buffet at the hotel. I can say it's good enough. but beware that it can get really crowded on weekends. You have to wait your turn to be seated. Our stay was great memorable for the kids and would probably want to come back again

We booked 2 villas for our overnight stay. Villas were great and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The kids and even the seniors enjoyed the surroundings since it was private and quiet. There were a lot of things that the kids can do aside from swimming. There were bikes available and even outdoor activities. We’d love to go back here- quick drive from Manila, thus plenty of time for r&r.

Got a very good experience on our last stay at The Mansion. Surroundings is good, its kind of different actually from what you expect for a hotel. Accommodations are also good but would actually like if we've been on the side facing the pool so that we're not always crossing the reception even when we came from the pool. One downside was the food. It's good but its expensive. Overall, we've been booked again and will be visiting this one soon!
