Easy hotel is what it claims to be. Functional and cheap. Some reviewers comment on the small rooms, but that's clear on the website of the hotel. The reception is manned 24/7. There is a vending machine and coffee station at the reception. After check out one can use the large lockers for €3 to store any bags. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. The rooms have nice showers and the temperature can be regulated too. For the price, the hotel is a good deal. Many rooms have wonderful views of the waterfront. An ideal base for a short trip to the city. Perfect for a single person or 2 people sharing the room.

Standard old Dutch top floor duplex apartment, it is good for a family to live together. Luggage to be carried, there is no elevator, of course there is no elevator. I was extremely satisfied by my stay at Thermae 2000. Located on a mountain in Valkenburg, the panoramic views and the natural beauty of the surroundings give a great sense of serenity. The hotel is very comfortable. Each room, fully equipped and well maintained, has a little terrasse with a peaceful view on the forest. Built as a pyramid, it is the only hotel I know that has a little funicular instead of a lift to go from one floor to another. The staff in general, and especially in the hotel and the various restaurants, are always smiling, polite and seem to care and be happy to work in this place. They will make you feel welcome and comfortable, and attend to your every request with a smile. The spa facilities are very extensive, super clean and well maintained, and you can choose from a variety of options to suit your mood and needs. There are pools inside and outside and a very large choice of saunas, steam baths and water treatments as well as lots of space outside to relax and cool down. Throughout the day, free group activities are proposed. The spa treatments are very professional and enjoyable. The therapists are skilled and pleasant. All the rooms are clean, well maintained and provide the perfect atmosphere to relax and feel pampered. I tried the gastronomic restaurant for dinner (« Pure”) and it was perfect. The Indian lady Executive Chef has a very inventive, superbly presented, sophisticated and tasty cuisine. It is a bit expensive but worth every penny. The dishes are creative, fresh and flavourful, and the service is impeccable and reasonably quick – although the restaurant was full on that night. (It is advisable to book in advance) Overall experience: Perfect for a special occasion. I believe, it is one of the best spa resorts in the Netherlands and among the best in Europe. I personally truly unwinded and enjoyed every minute of my stay.

The room was on the first floor but the way it structured is a bit weird. I still need to climb few steps up and down on the same floor. There was no shampoo or shower gel in the shower. The bed isn’t that comfortable thou. Location was really good. Really close to the station. Easy to get to the city central as well. The bath is huge!!!

Excellent! We arrived a little early but it was no bother and we were checked in swiftly by a very kind and professional receptionist; she was very helpful too with a great sense of humour. The rooms are very nice, big and clean and the bathroom is big, with a choice of shower heads and a separate bath. The breakfast buffet offers A LOT of options and I was impressed, it would have been perfect if they’d have served vegetarian sausages but that’s me being incredibly picky. Check out was swift plus you can also check out online or leave your keys in a drop box. There is ample parking and the location is very good as you are just off the motorway between Belgium and Germany. We booked directly with them so they offered us a little treat which was super nice. I thoroughly recommend this hotel; the parking, rooms and staff are very, very good!

As in many European cities this hotel is the result of a conversion of old buildings with some additions. This makes the whole atmosphere very cozy and charming and in touch with what you would expect when visiting Maastricht. The location is perfect facing de Virjthof square, with a municipal parking garage just crossing the street and in the middle of everything worth visiting in the city. Lot of restaurants just around the corners. We had a superior suite, generous in size, with a bathroom with an unusual layout due to the bedroom being in what I guess was a former dining room. The shower cabin was very nice and everything worked well. AC with 2 equipments in bedroom and living room worked well as did internet. Breakfast was exceptionally good. Served not in a buffet style because the hotel is very small, but with high quality ingredientes and everything you might desire. The guy running the breakfast was very kind and efficient. Check out was done quickly and with no problems. Check in could have been more explicit regarding information about certain limitations of the hotel having nobody in reception after 18:00. Concierge service is non existent. The Spa is in the modern add on building. Tasteful, modern, with a plunge pool and saunas, it makes a good impression. At night the breakfast room is used as a restaurant with a charming patio. Conclusion : a charming European boutique hotel with modern amenities, modern decor, housed in old preserved buildings, with a nice spa, limited reception service and very good breakfast.

If you choose for an arrangement , so including breakfast and the so-called three-fold dinner, you should not expect the best of them . First, we got a room on the first floor, just above the entrance .. The hotel's worst room, while there were rooms available. The so-called three-way menu is not very good and very little. Moreover, the cook didn't want to make the orange bavary and we just got deep freezers from the supermarket with a layer of chocolate sauce... terrible! The privilege was also invaluable and consisted of a so-called champignon soup with six sprays of tauge and two champignons... I felt very insulted that this was offered to me... that she dare to serve that is scandalous... We were allowed to sit only at a certain place in the restaurant because we had a arrangement and were treated as a little as t****erang guests.. This is very bad! The servants are not guest-friendly and friendly , I recommend them to take a course with their colleagues at the van der Valk Hotel. Moreover, breakfast was good, just standard as everywhere, but as soon as you order something extra, you will find cheating. I had paid a 3-day arrangement of €335 and will not do this anymore.

In Heerlen you got several options for a hotel , if you are in need - whenever I can I will go for the Kasteel TerWorm ... been here before , and I think I will be there again ... So arriving before noon is typically not the best at any hotel, no difference here on the topic - the lady at the reception was kind and get me the key and all the forms - but she asked me kindly to wait till my room will be ready - I went for a walk in the garden and surroundings , you have some picks attached to the review. Room was at the ground level in the courtyard building, room 14 - I got - and it was very clean , spacious and with a good size bathroom that had a tub and a shower - depending on what you want. Bed was comfortable - the minibar for free .... breakfast - a nice selection of buffet, eggs, meat , etc ... so everything for everybody. To distance a bit customers you could choose breakfast till 9 or after 9 ... so to split a bit the guests. Outside my room - I had room 14 - there were 2 chairs at a table and a decorative bush in that bush a duck was nesting between the branches - such a nice thing. Overall I had a very good stay - with helpful staff and a very good hotel experience and for sure if I go to Heerlen again , I would choose the same hotel for my stay. I recommend you try it and if you don't like it just blame it on me .....

A beautiful place to stay - friendly, welcoming staff, a spacious room and an excellent breakfast. We stayed for 4 nights in April/May and were sorry to leave! We arrived around 10pm - later than expected due to delays on the train from Brussels - and checked in at the nearby Hotel Grote Gracht as the Sint Jacob is only open for check-in to 4pm. Everything went very smoothly and it was just a short walk between the 2 hotels. The room was very comfortable and nicely furnished, including a fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was also spacious, with a good shower and plenty of hot water. The breakfast was excellent with the offer of bacon and eggs cooked individually for you. A wonderful range of fresh bread, sweet pastries, different cereals and muesli, fresh fruit, cheese and meat. We would definitely recommend this as a good place to stay in the historic centre of Maastricht.
