Goede hotel

Today I checked in at the salient Maastricht. Apart from the somewhat dirty room, the duvet appeared to consist of lumps, which is clear: the down has clumped together in several places into hard balls, with nothing in between. That is far from comfortable and does not keep you warm at night. To the reception for a solution. The lady at the reception indicates that she does not have any other duvets. After we insist, she calls the management who is at another location, perhaps another hotel. She refuses to speak to me on the phone and tells the lady that there is no solution. Checking out and getting your money back is not possible. The lady at the reception can also not walk to the HEMA around the corner to get a duvet. When I ask if the manager can be called again, the answer is no. Several duvets have been replaced this year by those from another hotel, the complaint is known and the lady at the reception can do nothing about it. Other duvets have it too. Another room is not possible, and the duvets that are there have the same thing. In short: I can look into it. How special…. What if someone gets sick and vomits under a duvet, what if someone brings a duvet etc? Is there no solution then? Since I have to sleep here for 4 nights, I just bought a duvet myself. I would like to get that cost back. And maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to do something about the attitude of the management, I can recommend a good management development program.

Een erg slordige entree, oogt vies en al lang geen onderhoud geweest. Kamer erg klein en zeer gedateerd. Vies en slecht onderhouden. Zeep in de badkamer was een viezige grote flacon die leeg in de houder stond. Veel herrie van de straat. On de tocht tegen te gaan was er overal tissues tussen de kozijnen gepropt, zie foto. Het ontbijt is vanaf 8.00uur. Ivm een uitvaart moesten wij al vroeg vertrekken en hebben gevraagd of we om 7.30 uur konden ontbijten. Dat was mogelijk, helaas was er echter op de dag van vertrek geen ontbijt om 7.30 uur. Er werd geen kopje koffie if iets anders aangeboden. We hadden gewoon pech. Ik vind het geen aanrader!!

NOOIT MEER Dit hotel krijgt van ons eigenlijk geen sterren, maar ik moet er 1 aantikken anders kan ik de review niet versturen. Ze hebben ons bij aankomst op 16 oktober 2x de toeristenbelasting laten betalen. De toeristenbelasting zat al bij voordeeluitjes in t bedrag en hun hebben het bedrag nog n keer bij het te betalen bedrag opgeteld. Toen ik na 10 minuten terug ging naar de receptie dat t niet klopte konden ze mij t bedrag van € 27,80 niet meer terugbetalen (terwijl ik contant had betaald) en moest ik n mail sturen. Na diverse mails heb ik tot op heden 14 december nog steeds het geld niet retour. Kreeg ik eerst nog een reactie op mijn mail wordt er nu nog niet eens meer gereageerd. Zeker niet klantvriendelijk! Daarbij was het niet schoon en stonk onze kamer naar riolering.
