We have just returned from another Andre Rieu weekend at the Brittanique Hotel Maastricht. Kyona and Tim, yet again, made it a fantastic stay. The terrace meal on concert night was a delight They and their well-trained, friendly and efficient staff and chef are to be commended for making the trip so enjoyable. We are now looking forward to our next trip with them. Dave and Paula

We have just returned from a return visit to the Hotel Britannique after a weekend in Maastricht for the Andre Rieu concert. The hotel is exceptionally well kept, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, really comfortable and has fantastic food. Kyona and Tim (who run the hotel) and their staff (who are clearly highly trained in impeccable customer service) are really welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The atmosphere created by the whole team makes you feel so special and totally relaxed and cared for throughout your stay. I can only highly praise every one of them for, yet again, making our stay a truly wonderful experience.

Lovely little hotel, rooms are really well furnished and decor is very tasteful The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for them. We stayed here to watch the Andre Rieu concerts, as guests we were treated to front row terrace seats on Vrijthof. It was perfect to be able to watch the concert while enjoying a good meal and a bottle (or two) of wine. We will almost certainly be coming back next year. Not sure as to what amenities the hotel offers as we were only here for 2 nights, purely to make the most of the opportunity to enjoy the concert.

Well it’s difficult to start. The hotel was spotless, the staff exceptional, nothing was too much trouble even during the really busy time of the concerts. This made our weekend away really relaxing. The food at the concert was superb considering the requirements for mass serving, breakfast again was super. We stayed in the top room overlooking the square yet the room was quiet and we slept really well. We will return to this, what we consider, a five star hotel.

Ik heb niet in het hotel gelogeerd maar gegeten in het restaurant. Het eten was heerlijk en de bediening was ook heel goed. Heel attent, niet opdringerig maar toch altijd voor je klaar. We komen zeker terug!

Ligging was uitstekend maar verder zou ik de volgende keer een ander hotel boeken. Voor de prijs vond ik het helaas teleurstellend. Leuk welkomst kaartje op de kamer maar vol met spelfouten en zowel voor als achternaam verkeerd gespeld (leuke geste maar geeft de indruk dat er geen echte aandacht aan wordt besteed), badjas op de kamer met gescheurd ceintuur (armoedig), glazen deur naar toilet/badkamer toch een beetje ongemakkelijk (niet vermeld op website, wel handig detail vind ik zelf), föhn op de kamer nergens te bekennen. Verder vind ik een hotel met 'echte' lobby wat fijner, je checkt hier in, in het restaurant (niet negatief maar gewoon persoonlijke voorkeur voor een hotel met 24 uurs receptie). Ramen op de kamer konden open, heel fijn, maar gezien je midden op het Vrijthof zit omringd door restaurants hadden we hier niets aan - kwam een enorme frituur lucht naar binnen (kan het hotel natuurlijk niets aan doen). Als ik alles tegen elkaar opweeg dan vind ik dat ik te veel heb betaald voor wat ik kreeg, ik zou niet teruggaan. Volgende keer kies ik liever voor een andere ligging maar een fijner hotel.

Non è un hotel , è un ristorante con sopra le camere , non esiste la hall , non esiste reception, per salire nelle camere abbiamo dovuto fare una scalata di tre piani , abbiamo prenotato su Booking dove si spacciano per hotel , ma sono un bed and breakfast, la camera è carina ma per chi come noi , vuole l’hotel non è il Luogo adatto , il ristorante e quindi la reception chiude a mezzanotte e passerete la notte da soli , se fosse successo un incendio avremmo fatto la fine dei topi , quando siamo arrivati abbiamo chiesto se fossimo andati via e ci hanno detto che avrebbero applicato la penale , gli abbiamo ricordato che non sono un hotel ma sono convinti di esserlo assurdo mai più siete un bed and breakfast

+ De ontvangst was erg hartelijk. We kregen een gratis drankje aangeboden bij aankomst. De ligging is centraal. De medewerkers waren vriendelijk. - Dit is geen hotel maar een brasserie die een paar kamers verhuurd. Er is zelfs geen onthaal, ontvangstbalie en/of lounge voor de hotelgasten. Er is geen lift aanwezig voor de 3,5 etages Wij kregen kamer 6 (naar eigen zeggen de stilste kamer) maar het was erg luidruchtig. Britannique is niet hygiënisch, de tv-console durfden we zelfs niet aan te raken (zie foto) Je moet langs een open keuken passeren waar stapels vuile vaat en etensresten staan om naar boven te gaan. Alle flesjes van zeep en shampoo waren leeg bij onze aankomst, zijn ze wat later komen brengen. We namen een ontbijt in het restaurant (zaten er helemaal alleen) en konden niet tegen elkaar praten van de luide muziek om 08,30h 's morgens. Toen ik vroeg om het wat stiller te zetten begrepen we meteen waarom, boven de inkom hangt er een soort airo/verwarmingselement die zoveel kabaal maakt dat je nog steeds niet tegen elkaar kunt babbelen. Er is maar een erg beperkt ontbijt (kan ook pas vanaf 09,00h 's morgens), wij kozen voor 3 croissants en 3 koffies en betaalden hiervoor 34,50€. Wij betaalden voor 1 nacht met 1 dag parking samen 397,36€ + 34,50€ ontbijt wat schandalig is. Jullie moeten dringend de prijzen herzien of nog beter, ermee ophouden. Aan de vele negatieve reviews te lezen zijn wij heus niet de enige. Wegblijven van hotel Britannique is de enige juiste boodschap.
