We stayed in your hotel for 1 night and were assigned room n°11 on arrival. What a downer: you arrive in a very beautiful prestigious building and are assigned a small, dark room with no view. Very sad. If you wanted to open the window (in the morning to let in a bit of fresh air), you first had to climb on the chair, then on the desk and then you could open the window. It wasn't very clean either: there was even a cork under the desk, not ours. The service in the restaurant: chaotic. We reported this at check-out and were offered our drinks as compensation, which we also appreciate. But in the end, we don't go on holiday for a weekend to get our drinks for free, but to be able to relax and enjoy carefree.

We booked a room in the old villa (No. 1). The room was in all respects our wishes; large, originally, quiet and clean. Although we received the key, the room was still in the state of the last guests. Kleenex box was empty and we had to look for the toilet paper. No excuse and the coffee waiting we had to pay. The restaurant at the ground floor was really good but a little expensive for Belgium. In new buildings built alongside as well as in the old house, there is a lift. Parking is enough. Breakfast for € 22.00 we found rather high price. Quittance for the night we received handwritten! ?
