A very large menu, a large selection of dishes, good and healthy breakfasts, very pleasant service, everyone is always smiling, but in general: being in this hotel, you feel in complete privacy, I do not recommend it with children, the best place for a honeymoon, stunning underwater world at your feet. Excellent design of houses, everything is very thought out for guests!
We stayed at Icom Hotels in Masfushi this August, and it was a great experience. The warmth of the staff made us feel welcome from the start, starting with the hospitality of the housekeeper up to Ali Adam, the General Manager, whose support and guidance made our stay feel like home. The company also offers trip services, which was perfect for us as active travelers. We enjoyed exploring the area and appreciated the recommendations for various activities. Finally, we’d like to extend our gratitude to Moosh, who took great care of us and was an incredible guide in helping us conquer the ocean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the attentive service. We look forward to coming back!
We had such a wonderful experience at Rosemary Boutique Hotel. It is a quaint hotel in the best location - right at bikini beach and close to the snorkeling spot called Coral Gardens. The front of house staff are very friendly, kind and accommodating. We booked a tour through the hotel from Maafushi to Fullidoo and we go to swim with nurse sharks, manta rays and dolphins. I can highly recommend that you book all your activities through the hotel. The room was spacious enough and nice and clean. There wasn't any view from our window/balcony but that didn't bother us as we were literally only in the room to sleep. The bathroom design needs some work as the shower wets the toilet but otherwise all in all a very comfortable stay. The breakfast is fulling and the wifi is decent. This is a great value for money find.

I booked Narnia based on reviews. I wonder where the good rating coming from. To start, upon arrival the receptionist, who also happened to be the all-around guy, refused to give us a room bc the owner (who was in Male and would not answer calls) did not inform receptionist of our arrival. We sat there frustrated and hungry and tired waiting for the owner to answer calls. Despite the confirmation and my bank receipt, we sat there waiting. Finally the owner confirmed, so we were ushered to our room. The bed was made but it obviously were used linen with stains and candy residues. There were candy wrappers on the floor. I asked Islam (the receptionist) for a broom and I swept the floor myself. The bathroom had some hair on the shower floor. The breakfast is mediocre— one hotdog and two toasted bread. No coffee. Coffee is on the counter for the guests to make but the canister was empty with only hardened coffee sitting at the bottom of the canister. Its lose instant coffee that everyone dug in to make their own cups. Worse was, when we checked out, Islam asked $7 for “services fee” per owner. What services!!!! Eventhough I paid every fees and taxes on my booking. Robbed us!!!! And mind you, I tipped heavily bc money helps. Also, the hotel is a walk away from the jetty, but quiet a distance from bikini beach. There is no view as the rooms do not have windows. I stayed in room 107. Please save your money and book somewhere else. There are better hotels a few steps away from bikini beach. Trust me, you will enjoy better.
I stayed 4 nights at this hotel which was enough as my first impression of the room was not what it looked liked online. It was very dated. The storage cabinets had broken off bits of wood and no flowers, fruit or towels wrapped up on bed as picture shows on their website of bed. The bathroom smelt upon arrival with the toilet blocking up twice. Yes I put toilet paper in the toilet first time then was told not to put toilet paper in toilet so didn’t after that but stilled blocked again. The lavender smelling sachet in bathroom was empty on arrival. Bed was hard. Lightbulb above mirror was blown in room. Room safe had key but numbers didn’t work. TV didn’t work. No signal. Reception was presented well. The breakfast was not great. Not much choice and all foods were cold. No heating of baked beans or sausages. The woman in the dining room was rude twice. Could have been more polite and friendly. I only had breakfast twice and it was very little. I could hear the staff out the back in the kitchen clearing their throat very loudly as if going to spit. I also heard this upstairs a few times by staff. I thought was disgusting. The stairs had broken wood and weren’t the safest. The guy who got my baggage when I arrived and also took it to the boat was the Hotels best asset. He was lovely and always had a smile. He was very respectable. It is very noisy there at night so no sleep until midnight as set surrounded by bars and restaurants playing loud music. Garden setting is lovely. Beach is across the road. Though can’t swim there. This hotel needs a refurbishment. The best part was the shower. Good pressure from large shower head. I rate it 3/5 for my stay. Also wasn’t given more loo paper when room was cleaned in day 3. Only cleaned once. Wouldn’t stay again.
Suresh a very kind and friendly person. Super helpful staff to all requests, thank you. Suresh una persona veramente in gamba. Super staff attento a tutte le richieste. Grazie e alla prossima. Best experience in Maafushi.
I want to share about an exciting and amazing trip with the Triton Tours Maafushi team. It was a half day trip to two coral reefs and lunch on an uninhabited island. What can I say, I chose the best company in Maafushi with a professional team. We were very lucky and met 7 turtles, 3 sharks, many beautiful colorful fish and huge schools of dolphins, who did not leave us until our boat return to the island. I want to express my deep gratitude to the whole friendly and cheerful team - captain Batte, Sheggy, Rebit, Vikash and special thanks to my ‘Paparazzi’ Abichi, who took me a million unforgettable photos and videos. Thank you very much for the great impressions, emotions and happy moments.
I chose this one because it's newly opened. It's generally very clean, except that the towels are old and stained (a common phenomenon in resident island homestays). The room is very clean and has a small balcony with tables and chairs for hanging clothes. The breakfast is the hotel's The local meals are made by the staff, cooked on the spot, not a buffet, and the simple meals are quite delicious, not bad. The service here is very good and all the staff are very friendly. You can also exchange US dollars for local currency, and the exchange rate is very good at 1:18! There is no need to squeeze in the long queues at the airport to exchange currency. The B&B owner helped me exchange the most beautiful currency (1000MVR whale shark banknotes). There are people to pick me up at the airport and the pier.
I had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and luxurious stay. The hotel's amenities, including the pool and spa, added to the overall relaxation and enjoyment. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. The complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic and memorable stay! Thank you Majdhy will see you soon
Location hardly matters in Maaffushi as the whole island is a 10 min walk. Booked the hotel for two nights stay. The host Ahmed was extremely responsive on chat n email and kept us updated. Also helped in booking for water sports and speed boat ride from Male airport. The hotel staff greeted us as soon as we got of the boat and took us for a very smooth checkin with some fresh juice. The hotel is around 5 min walk from the bikini beach and the Resturant area, is extremely clean and peaceful. Its a newly build hotel so every thing was brand new. No hush n bush so ideal. Breakfast was nice and room service did a fantastic job. Highly recommend if you are looking for a not so fancy but extremely clean, safe and peaceful hotel with all basic utilities in a hotel.

GGuest UserWe stayed as a family for 3 nights in the quadruple room which was spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 children to sleep comfortably. The quadruple rooms do not face the sea. The condition of the room is excellent and the hotels seems to be well maintained. Service wise, the staff are generally polite. The breakfast had limited options. Be warned, the cats literally dine with you in the restaurant and it appears to be a problem across the island. The beach is nice although it is not maintained as it should be. There were plenty of sun beds available. Water sports are very reasonably priced compared to average prices in Maldives. Overall, pleasant stay.
Rehendhi villa is an awesome hotel with all basic amenities covered. They arrange for speed boat transfers, provide proper guidance with very good front staff 2 ladies named Nancy and nimitra( I m sorry for the wrong spelling of your names ) . One is from kerala and other from srilanka Now comes the most important person who is Mr Mohan from srlanka who is part of their restaurant team and who is also the supervisor who manages everything. He was a special person for us who made this stay from a 3 star property to a 5 star stay. We stayed for 3 nights and he recommended us and served us amazing vegetarian breakfast along with special veg items in dinner which he served us in dinner times We are very obliged to you and appreciate your gestures and the way you treat your customers so special. Also Mr mohnish from the same team also made great srilankan tea for myself , so special thanks to him as well Mr Mohan also guided us for shopping and he also gave us special things to my daughter in a bottle to carry memories back to mumbai. So really thankful and I will recommend this hotel to everyone looming for a budgeted and a comfortable stay. Only thing is they don't have lifts and ceiling fans but their AC is enough to make the room cool. So all in all a very good etay at Rehendhi villa because of its overall staff and Mr Mohan
The Kaani Village hotel is part of a hotel chain on the island. The treatment has been excellent from the reception, where we did not have to carry the suitcases at any time. The first person we had contact with was Magic, who gave us his phone number for anything that might happen. The room has all the comforts: a spacious bathroom, a large bed, plugs, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a fan, lots of artificial and natural light, as well as access to the indoor pool. The beach is less than 2 minutes walk. The hotel offers all services directly, without third parties. We have done excursions in which we have swum with sharks, turtles, we have seen the coral reef, we have played with manta rays and we have eaten on deserted islands. In addition, the monitors that have touched us have had impeccable attention. We have coincided with people from many cultures and the respect that there is in general is noticeable. The price per excursion is between $30-50 per person, which is very affordable considering that you spend a large part of the day outside and it includes food. They also offer water sports. We have not been able to do them because we have lacked some time on the island. We have been here 5 nights. As for the food, they made us an improvement compared to what we had contracted and all the meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) have been at the Kaani Palm, which is on the beachfront. They also gave us free access to the infinity pool on the 9th floor. The views are incredible. The beach in front is private and only accessible to hotel residents. On this beach you can wear a bikini without any problems. There are ushers who take care of everything you may need: lounger, drinks, food... It should be noted that the island is a mix between several hotel chains and private homes of people who live here, so it is not as artificial as if it were a deserted island with a resort. There are many cats that are very humanized, are good and allow themselves to be caressed. In general the experience has been very positive. If we had to recommend the trip, we would only increase the stay by 1 or 2 days to be able to do what little we have lacked.
If you're planning a budget-friendly trip, Nala Island Village is one of the best places to stay. Located in the Kaafu Atoll on Maafushi, the hotel offers an excellent experience for travelers. My friends and I spent two nights there, and we were thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided timely pick-up from the Maafushi jetty area. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the jetty, making it very convenient. The rooms were spacious and clean, which was a pleasant surprise for the price. Plus, the hotel provided free Wi-Fi. The location is fantastic, with the watersports area only a 2-3 minute walk away. After check-out, the staff even took care of our luggage and dropped it off at the jetty, which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, our stay at Nala Island Village was wonderful, and we will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Maafushi. Highly recommended for those looking for comfort and convenience on a budget.
GGuest UserAs a newlywed couple, our honeymoon in the Maldives was an absolute dream, and it wouldn't have been the same without the exceptional service we received at Arena Beach Hotel. The level of hospitality we encountered was truly outstanding, and we owe a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated staff members who made our stay so memorable. Themiya and Ruwan, the friendly faces at the front office, welcomed us with open arms and ensured that every aspect of our visit was seamless. Their professionalism and willingness to assist were truly appreciated, and they went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met. On the culinary front, Nipuna and Janith, the talented chefs at Arena Beach Hotel, took our dining experience to a whole new level. Their culinary creations were nothing short of exquisite, and each meal was a delightful journey of flavors. From delectable breakfasts to romantic dinners by the shore, Nipuna and Janith's culinary skills added an extra layer of magic to our honeymoon. The accommodations were luxurious, offering breathtaking views and all the comforts one could ask for. The pristine beaches and turquoise waters of the Maldives provided the perfect backdrop for romance and relaxation. Our gratitude goes out to all the staff at Arena Beach Hotel including Themiya, Ruwan, Nipuna, and Janith for their unwavering dedication to ensuring that our honeymoon was an unforgettable experience. Their contributions truly made a difference, and we are immensely thankful for their efforts. If you're in search of a honeymoon or vacation destination that combines exceptional hospitality with stunning surroundings, we wholeheartedly recommend Arena Beach Hotel in Maafuhi, Maldives.
GGuest UserThe staff is rude and uncooperative, especially their operation manager , a very malicious and provocative person. The hotel is not 4 stars at all. Before and after the hotel is a construction area, which makes it a very dirty place. The restaurant smells rancid and the food is bad. We could not eat a bite, even the water glasses smelled bad. The session The interior and exterior are lousy, and the disaster is that the beach and the sea are not beautiful, as if you are in a poor village that is not in the Maldives. Our children’s room was dirty and full of insects, and when we told them they just sprayed insecticide and caused our children allergies, the balcony is not soundproofed and all the noise and drums on the beach and the street you hear while you are inside the room, we could not sleep That night, one hour, even the voices of people in the entrance can be heard, and the curtains are not light-proof, the bed and pillows are very bad, we stayed one night and asked to checke out early and that they have to return to us part of the payment of the remaining four nights and for two rooms .we checked out to find out that they deducted all the booking and the high tax and the 5 breakfasts with the green tax with careLess and disregards from their manager . It was the most terrible hotel in Maldives with the biggest lose
GGuest UserMasala Street (inside White Shell Hotel): The entrance looks very fancy but when you step in, it's a kind of a let down where they have a plain room with tables and chairs put together. As this restaurant is attached to White Shell Island Hotel and Spa, their menu prices are all in USD, as is the case with all such other restaurants in Maafushi Island that are tied with a hotel. On the other hand, it seems that stand alone restaurants charge in MVR. A major negative is that they charge a 4% fee on the Bill of you pay by card, which doesn't apply if you pay by cash. The moment we told that we don't have USD and were about to walk out, the person said it's ok that we pay by card and he'll waive off the 4% fee. LOL! We had ordered Veg. Kadhai and Rotis (because their tandoor wasn't operational, so we couldn't have had naan) and were pleasantly surprised by the taste. It was very much like typical Indian taste. The rotis were phulka and served piping hot adding to the good experience. We would visit again, just for the taste.
GGuest UserMy first trip to maafushi and the hotel lea spa hotel is great place to stay and experience. The friendly staff from the reception to restaurant is excellent. The room is really clean, comfortable bed. A small mini bar with a complimentary water bottle and coffee is really great. The hallway is clean and always smells very nice and refreshing. The roof top restaurant is very clean and food and drinks taste great and the sunset view is a great time to enjoy dinner with the sun kiss the ocean view. The reception is very clean and well organized with any requests from the guests. Maya always smiles and checks the if the guests needs any assistance to book excursions, etc.. Maya is wonderful staff who really try upselling the rooms, promote the restaurant. I feel like she a great asset to the hotel management. Rakeeb the room boy is very friendly and nice to talk with. My stay from 21st August to 22nd August in room 206 is memory which will always be remembered and i will definitely be back to this hotel.
GGuest UserFor the price, it was great! We booked the double deluxe with the balcony (sea view). Although, it’s a basic hotel compared to the many all-inclusive hotels in the Maldives, it is still a good hotel . We had to go to their other hotel (just a minute away) for breakfast. There are a lot of choices, although, if you stay in their hotel for more than 3 nights, you might feel that there is not much choices. However, there are a lot of restaurants in front of the hotel.
