This is our favourite Travelodge and that's why we are frequent visitors. I have read the last seven reviews (all five stars) and we would agree with all the comments made. This is a very good hotel (much enhanced by the recent refurb) with great staff who go out of their way to help. The hotel is clean and well managed. The location is excellent with many shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The greatest asset of the hotel is the staff. On our recent visit Ben was very helpful when we checked in as was Emma when we checked out, We did spend time catching up with Sam. We first met Sam on her first day eight years ago (one of her colleagues said she’s part of the furniture!) and she’s been looking after us ever since. Sam is an outstanding staff member and an excellent ambassador for the Travelodge brand. We are looking forward to seeing her again on our next visit in just over two weeks time.
