Stayed for 2 nights (2 adults & 1 kid) Positives: Clean hotel - To be expected from any Ibis Budget Helpful staff - To be expected from any Ibis Budget Basic amenities - microwave at reception / cold drinking water (may not be complementary but staff let us refill our bottles) Ample car parking - We didn't use since we were not driving McDonalds next door - Helpful only if you are a McD person which I am not!!! Negatives: Rooms are not air conditioned - not sure if that is the case with all Ibis budget hotels but it could get uncomfortable in June nights Location is kind of secluded - can be slightly scary to go out after dark (especially with family) Not too many restaurants (except McD ofcourse), bars, supermarkets nearby Metro station is a good 800-900 mt away so can get tedious if you plan to walk to metro station multiple times a day

Accueil chaleureux et rapide par un sympathique bonhomme nommé Joseph. Des chambres très propres, agréables et bien isolées. Nous avons passé une seule nuit dans cet hôtel, malgré le si peu de temps, le personnel reste très agréable, le départ fût professionnel et tout aussi chaleureux que l'arrivée. Je conseille !

As a budget hotel it's obviously basic. But unfortunately as others have pointed out the breakfast staff are rude.. First day I went to the breakfast ”buffet” and was left quite disappointed. There are no cooked items available just breads, yoghurts, cereals and raw eggs for you to boil. After being told by staff to put my items back on the tray not on the table, I then witnessed one of the breakfast staff just wandering around the dining area doing nothing which makes no sense as to why we're not allowed to use the tables? She could have been wiping the tables instead of wasting time? They also have nothing to do except dishes ( which we have to empty all leftovers and rubbish into the bin and put it all on the racks so they don't do any tidying ) and top up breads milk etc.. I also then saw the receptionist taking her glass into the dining area to refill with juice but as she did she spilt leftover juice over the dividing wall, stopped, looked at it and kept on walking.. Overall if you want budget / basic with rude staff then go here..

I was fortunate enough to visit The Boscolo in August of this year (22) and have to say I wasn’t disappointed. The staff were welcoming and very helpful and the first impression of the hotel is fabulous. The room was beautiful, clean and very well finished with lovely comfortable beds. The treats left were very welcome too. The pool area was wonderful and the meal we had in the evening, around the pool, was exceptionally good. I would love to visit Nice again and if I do the Boscolo would be my first choice!

The room has a great view and is in a convenient location. It is close to the train station and convenient for walking around. The entrance to a large shopping mall is right next to the downstairs. Tax refunds are also very convenient. The hotel staff, including the breakfast staff, are very good. The breakfast is quite rich and the environment is open until 11 o'clock. Even the laziest people don't have to worry about time.

it was a very bad experience in this hotel, the bathroom is flooding after taking shower since the water drain so slow. Even one night no hot water provide, and my boss room suddenely no electricity. there are few steps to the escalator in the lobby, it is not convenient to take the heavy luggage up the steps. the only one good thing is the breakfast, many choices. All of us dont think it is worth of this hotel. not recommand at all. very disappointed

Amazing hotel! Absolutely loved location: shops are near, metropolitan, tram. Staff also was really nice. I can definitely recommend this hotel! The room has a cooking stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, it is very convenient.

15min walk from Lyon Part Dieu. Due to construction works, walking and dragging luggage became challenging and not as direct. There was a huge Westfield Mall where you can shop and dine. 10min walk to car rental office. There was a pickup area for us to load up luggage to our rental car just beside the hotel. Check-in process was a bliss. Staff was friendly. Sanitisers were always available. Room was relatively much smaller than Paris hotel. Barely enough space for 2x large luggage. Nevertheless, room was clean and dust-free. Toilet had decent space. Recommended for as a stopover hotel. Probably a night stay.

I stayed here in August and November and am returning in December. (Visiting my daughter on her erasmus year). On both visits to date I have found the rooms, whilst compact clean.and well maintained. The beds have been very comfortable. The rooms have a decent hairdryer, fab showers, free wifi, tv and tea and coffee facilities, which the staff are only too happy to top up. Breakfast is mainly continental (although there is bacon, sausage and egg available - just not my choice) lovely and fresh selection of meats, cheese, fruit, cereal, breads, juices and hot drinks - self serve. The staff, different on both visits, have always been welcoming and friendly. Location wise - perfect, close to trams and buses and easy to access to main train station. Easy to access all sights of interest. My husband and I look forward to revisiting in early December.. the only downside the price in December (during festival of lights) is nearly treble... but that appears to be a similar trend in other hotels at this time. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

This is a fun property. It's an old building that was a hospital before it was converted. The building is spectacular. It was also very clean. The rooms are quite large - by any standard and especially French standards. The space was also very well utilized. The bathroom was similarly large and well laid out. The location is excellent - near the rivers and lots of tourist areas. It's an expensive area but that's not unexpected. The wifi was good and the A/C worked well. The airport is outside the city so it costs about 50-60€ each way. The property was very quiet. They did a nice job insulating the windows to block traffic noise. Bottom line, I would absolutely return.
