The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and the room is very comfortable and the breakfast buffet is very good. We keep an address, excellent for our short stays in Lyon, very accessible from all points of view: budget, nearby restaurants with different rates, public transport and parking, etc. A really good plan!

At the edge of the city, it is more suitable for self-driving, convenient for arrival and departure. But there is a bus in front of the door, and it is not far from the old city. It is estimated that it is not convenient to drive by yourself. The rooms are nice, with a balcony and a kitchen, kitchenware and cutlery, including a microwave and coffee maker. In short, it feels good and worth the money. The only inconvenience is that the opposite side of our room is under construction and it is noisy in the morning.

Driving over, just on the side of the road, the location is still very good to find, may be the reason for the off-season, the price is also very affordable. There is a free parking garage and self-driving is a good choice.

Apartment correct where the essential is at our disposal. Attention au parking de l'hôtel qui est payant, c'est la première fois que je vois cela. Cela nous a dissuade de prendre l'option petit déjeuner. The hostess of the hotel asked me to pay the room at my arrival, so far no inconvenience from me except that the person wishing to pay in cash did not want to edit me receipt. How could I prove the following day that I had settled cash the night...????? I ended with settling in blue card, the hosts answers me ”it's gonna fix”. It's not to fix the staff but rather the client.We won't come back. I prefer to pay much more expensive elsewhere.

I had a very nice stay at this hotel. Very clean, modern rooms, great services. A bit away from the city centre, but easy to rrach by public transport and in a very quiet and green area. The only downside I found is that before our stay, I had to preauthorize the card I used for the rezervation, and my bank declined thi transaction ( it looked like a payment to a vendor in Uganda or somethinh like this ) as it seemed fishy. So I had my bank card frozen and an email ftom the hotel saying that I have to use a different card to authorize this transaction, otherwise by booking will be canceled. Everything was OK in the end, but a heads up would have been good.

I was fortunate enough to visit The Boscolo in August of this year (22) and have to say I wasn’t disappointed. The staff were welcoming and very helpful and the first impression of the hotel is fabulous. The room was beautiful, clean and very well finished with lovely comfortable beds. The treats left were very welcome too. The pool area was wonderful and the meal we had in the evening, around the pool, was exceptionally good. I would love to visit Nice again and if I do the Boscolo would be my first choice!

We loved out stay at Hotel Carlton-Lyon. It was a wonderful surprise! We spent 5 days here in a room with a king-size bed. The only downside is the lack of storage for clothes in the room, but we got creative. If you are expecting US-sized rooms you will be disappointed, but for European rooms we were very happy. The bathroom is large with a shower/bath that has great water pressure and temperature. The mattress and pillows are comfy. The air conditioner was great during a very warm week. The hotel is amazingly quiet. I never heard anything! Ride the beautifully renovated elevator. Breakfast is so wonderful- include it in the reservation. They have everything you could want for breakfast from bacon and eggs to meat and cheese, fresh fruit, granola, yogurt and PASTRIES. The staff are all terrific, but get a drink at the bar (an old-fashioned if you like them) and then go again. Shout out to bartender, Claudia, who made our trip so special. Not only did she recommend a great local restaurant for a Saturday night but then called them to squeeze us in for a last minute reservation at Bouchon des Cordeliers. Much appreciated after a more than 24 hour travel day. This location can't be beat. It is walking distance to so many things including Vieux Lyon (~5 min) and the art museum (15 min). It is a less than 5 minute walk to the bus. Take the C5 bus to Parc de Tete or the International City Center convention center. SO easy! You want to shop? This location has everything... Hermes, Louis Vuitton, UNIGLO, North Face... More nearby cafes, brasseries, boulangeries, patisseries and bouchons than you can image. Rent a bike or an electric scooter. Fun, easy, and very convenient. All in all, we loved this place and would definitely come back. I can't speak to the price/value because I was at a convention and got convention rates that seemed very reasonable. Stay here- you won't be disappointed.
