Perfect stay to get into the new forest- easy check in and clean room.

We stayed here while staying in the New Forest as there aren't many options. I guess this was the best of a bad bunch, and despite what it looks like from the outside, it isn't abandoned! Location is okay on the motorway but not ideal if you need to head back east and dont expect to find anywhere local to eat! The rooms are the usual standard, have the amenities and that, altho empty hand wash and shower just kept going hot and then cold over and over! We were ground floor and had people smoking in the car park and chatting which was a pain but the hotel served its purpose really.

Lots of traffic noise and smell if your room faces the road. No aircon. A bit tired inside and very tatty and run down outside. The breakfast box isn’t worth paying extra for.

Travelodge is the Ryan Air of the hotel world. What looks like a low cost soon becomes expensive when you add the extras that others include in their price. I would only use them if no alternatives are available The staff were the main saving grace. They were friendly and helpful. .

Great location for a quick stay over between our theme park visits, easy check in and room was comfortable and large enough for a family of four. Kids loved the room, it eas clean and well organised. Receptionist was really lovely and answered any queries we had during check in. Ample parking is a bonus too.

Do not stay here! Absolutely filthy & there are bed bugs! We booked a family room for us and our 2 young children. We arrived very late, around 11:30pm due to travelling after work. We were allocated room 7 initially. When we arrived, we brought the children straight into their beds. As we pulled the sheet back to get into our own bed I was horrified to find a bed bug on the sheet! We immediately complained to reception, the lady was very accommodating and moved us to another room right away (room 122). This unfortunately was no better, there were bugs all over the bathroom wall and upon inspection by the skirting boards - more bed bugs!! We decided to check out right away and had to drive over an hour to another hotel with availability at gone midnight. I had to buy a steamer and steam our clothes, bags, kids toys, car seats etc before we could even enter our house to ensure we didn’t bring anything back with us. I am now fighting for a refund as the hotel manager and supposedly pest control deem this to be satisfactory despite having sight of these photos. The mattresses were all brand new, surprising considering the rooms were so dirty. Makes you wonder whether they’re actually well aware of the issue and trying to cover it up?! Do not stay here - the smell hits you as soon as you walk in and aside from the bugs, the rooms were filthy.
