Wonderful guest house, so friendly, spotless room with comfy bed, amazing breakfast. Lyndhurst is a lovely place with lots of interesting independent shops and cafes. Parking at the guest house was just a short stroll to all that was on offer in the high street. Nick and Judith were great hosts

Just got back from a lovely 4-day stay in Avalon House. The host Nick was warm and welcoming and the room and en-suite were lovely and spacious with plenty of storage. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and there was tea, coffee, bottled water and lovely biscuits every day in the room. The house is just a 5-minute walk from the lovely town of Lyndhurst which has some nice shops, restaurants and a couple of pubs . There is also a pub called The White Rabbit just across the road. Great to be able to park the car on site. If you walk to the end of the high street you will find a lovely place in the New Forest called Bolton’s Bench which has lovely views around the area. We stayed at Avalon because we were doing a pottery course at Angels Farm nearby and will definitely stay there if we come back next year.

A very nice place to stay! Staf very friendly and the breakfast was perfect. Location of the B&B was perfekt. Clean and quiet large room to our disposal. Lyndhurst is a vibrant community and had nice pubs and good Indian food. Parking direct in front of the house for free.

Nick and Judith were very welcoming and informative. Comfortable stay and a good night sleep ideal for short or long stay, the facilities are everything you would need. Breakfast was to an extremely high standard with lots of choice… very tasty. Great location would highly recommend. Would book again as was a great find and great value.

Nick is always very welcoming, helpful and full of information. the location is superb with off road parking. The room was clean and tidy with all the usual facilities, the breakfast was spot on, faultless. Highly recommend the Waterloo Arms a five minute walk away from the B&B, for good pub food.

One night stay in Lyndhurst
One night trip to Lyndhurst. Location was great, free parking either at the hotel or on street. Comfortable room, nice little touches such as fresh milk appreciated, as was allowing us to use the car park before check-in.
Breakfast was fresh and excellent quality

Comfortable, friendly, small B&B
Good sized rooms, everything is clean and well put together. Lots storage space if planning to stay a while Lovely choice for breakfast. Friendly owners. Convenient for exploring New Forest and just 2 minute walk into centre of Lyndhurst. I was at front of house, and noticed road noise. Rooms to the back probably quieter. Easy to find by car.
