This is the best b&b we have stayed in. Fraser and Maria are great hosts. They are very friendly and so helpful. My partner was unwell and they could not have been more supportive, which meant a lot to us. I overheard Fraser offering to drop another couple to the Isle of Wight ferry. We had a large room with views of the garden (room 4). The bed and pillows were comfortable. Modern wetroom with rainful shower. Lots of appreciated extras too, the Ferrero Rochers are a favourite of ours. Thank you Fraser and Maria, we look forward to returning.

Just got back from a relaxing stay at Highfield Bed & Breakfast, our hosts Fraser and Maria were so welcoming nothing was too much trouble. Exceptional breakfast, clean and comfortable room, a mini fridge with fresh water and milk a bonus. Highfield is close enough to the town to be able to walk to the pubs and restaurants, Fraser recommended a lovely pub where the locals go and food was excellent well worth a visit. Thank you again Fraser and Maria we had an excellent stay.

At a time when so few facilities across in UK hospitality seem to lack any real value; it is heart-lifting to experience facilities and service that stand head and shoulders above bigger, branded establishments. I can only echo every positive assessment I’ve read in previous reviews. This will be our preferred place to stay on all visits to the New Forest from here on in. You will not find better service, attention to detail and value for money anywhere on this planet. Thanks team.

Fraser and Maria are excellent hosts. You can't fault this place - exceptional breakfast, clean rooms with great amenities and perfect location with 5 minute walk to the high street. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Everything exceeded our expectations, Fraser and Maria made us feel so welcome, breakfast was excellent and our room was very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely owners who work very hard to make sure everyone is happy. The EV charger was a bonus - thank you.

Excellent in every way. Would definitely recommend this B & B. The rooms are finished to a high standard and breakfast excellent. My husband and I stayed at Highfield in 2021 and liked it so much we returned recently in June 2025. Great hosts who go above and beyond to make visitors feel welcome. Maureen and John

What an excellent place to stay, very welcoming couple the place is to a very high standard excellent customer service room was very clean and had everything we needed. Fantastic stay for our wedding anniversary. Very comfortable and a view over the garden. Nice big ensuite. Even a mini fridge with fresh milk. Couldn't fault it. We would stay again. Close enough to the town to be able to walk to the shops and restaurants.
