Breakfast was average as bacon was hardly cooked. Plus a long wait for it to arrive. Room was nice and large and very clean.

Overall good hotel and location ,in the middle of town easy access to beach and shopping. couple of things, perhaps owners could supply t shirts for staff as they were indistinguishable from guests. plus a small fridge in room would be good . Enjoyed our three nights there.

Very clean room, brightly decorated with nice little balcony which has sea views over the rooftops. Rest of hotel needing a bit of a refurb. Generous use of private slot for swimming pool but pool almost bath-like in temperature which, I am sure, many people would like. Too warm for me. Lovely toiletries. Comfy bed with clean linen,but why no mattress or pillow protectors? Nice towels. Good breakfast with range of choices. Good vegetarian options. Staff all friendly and efficient.

This professionally-run and well-managed pub/hotel in the heart of Lyme Regis delivered cheerful comfort and good food during our two-night stay. Our email and phone interactions through the booking process for our party were prompt and helpful. Room was quiet, bed was comfortable, bathroom was well-appointed (bonus for heated towel rack and plentiful hot water). Easy walk to the "Jurassic Coaster" bus service and all local attractions. On-site management team was terrific!

Had a meal in the restaurant, very overpriced, my empty starter plate was left on the table after my main course arrived and stayed there for the duration of the meal! I paid £13.25p for a small vegetarian tart with a bit of watercress garnish descrbed on the menu as a salad, after spending nearly £80 on a meal and a couple of drinks, I asked if it would be possible to have a small cheese and biscuits for dessert as my wife was having a different pudding and I did not want to purchase a sharing cheese plate just for myself, I was told by the manager this was not possible as everything was preportioned, very disappointed and will not be returning again any time soon.

Very disappointing experience. We were in Lyme for the day and stopped in for lunch. We both ordered artichoke on sourdough. The bread was stale, and would have benefitted from being toasted. The topping was very sparse and we felt at over £9 it was vastly overpriced.

My son and I came to stay for one night while we went fossil hunting. We were made to feel so welcome from the minute we arrived.
Breakfast was amazing!
So close to the beach and shops.
We will definitely be back!

booked comfy room due to accessibility but it was so snug we asked to be moved. we were allocated a lovely room on ground floor with outside area. this room had recently been renovated. we wernt offered any help with luggage during our stay. the main restaurant was closed for the three nights we were there so we ate two nights in the bar. food was fairly good. my pork shoulder was all fatty with hardly any meat but my husbands identical meal was fine. breakfast is taken in an upstairs restaurant. food was cooked to order. a good breakfast for a three star hotel. the hotel is in a great location with parking. a two minute walk to the promenade. lots of shops are in the high street which we enjoyed.

Visited for Sunday lunch, awful service, very dirty and the beef was inedible. Didn’t get checked on so would have said something, when we left it was different staff again, as locals we or anymore we know will not be visiting this establishment
