The hotel rooms are standard with nothing standing out. It's on the Motel 6 level if you're from the states. The food is ok, but don't expect something great, even from the a' la cart menu. The spa is above standard and they have their own indoor pool. Their Internet connection (Wifi) is great.

I was staying at the Hotel Lappland for 2 nights for a conference. Excellent conference facilities, lovely spa with pool, jacuzzis etc, located right beside the river - this was frozen over though! Beautiful food and good selection of drinks. If I had to moan about anything it would be the price of the drinks, but compared to the UK I think all of Europe/Sweden is like this £6 is about average for a beer.

This hotell has a 3 day packet price for the chrismas holidays. The food was excellent and maybe the best part of the vaccation. Have been here 2 times at chrismas -17 and -19. the sataff are friendly and helpfull and the landscape around the hotell is magical. Like from a fairytale. The hotell had spa pool. A quite big hotell. A walk a round the hotell dont forget your camera. The rooms are ok. There is new and older rooms. The new are really nice and the older rooms are ok. The only thing to management is that the ceaning most get better. Even the older roms are ok if the cleaning was better. This is a small thing to fix so really recomend the mangement to take this advice because othervice this was a really good vaccation and i will defenetly recomend the stay. A extra plus is the price. You get à lot at the packet for a good procent!

There are bus stops just 5 minutes’ walk from the reception, so one does not need to travel by car. If one chooses the train, there is a 20 minutes’ walk from the railway station in the little city center. The room was big and quiet. It was oriented towards east, and therefore lacking the view of the big river Umeälven on the opposite side of the hotel. The food was good, especially the lunches. The breakfast and dinner were also a little better than average on a normal hotel.

Lovely spa, with lots of space, many different pools and saunas and a nice bar with very friendly personnel. Visited during Easter and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. Large and well equipped room with good view. Very pleasant lobby. The restaurant is definitely something they need to work on, the food was ok but nothing more than that, the waiters seemed rather lost and lacked basic knowledge - like pouring full glasses of wine. Still, the spa was great so I'd love to visit again.

Owner Katarina Lidahl not paying employees due to using too much wifi, pressure from old employees to serve guests old scrambled eggs that are several days old, fermented yogurts two weeks after the expiry date. All this at the Lappland Hotel.

Sehr netter Empfang und schöne Zimmer, allerdings mit Blick auf Felsen. Die Betten waren bequem. Die Lounge ist sehr gemütlich. Der Spa wäre auch sehr schön, allerdings tummelten sich dort fast ausschliesslich Familien mit kleinen Kindern (obwohl im Hotelbeschrieb steht, dass im Spa Kinder erst ab 15J zugelassen sind) es war recht laut, überall wurde gegessen und alles war entsprechend schmutzig. Essensresten, Geschirr etc wurde kaum abgeräumt. Es herrschte eher eine Jahrmarkt Stimmung, Entspannung unmöglich. Das Nachtessen ist nicht schlecht, allerdings total überteuert, wir sind eher wenig Esser und gingen nach dem 3-Gang Menu noch hungrig ins Bett. Wir würden nicht mehr dort essen, ist den Preis nicht wert.

gibt es hier sicherlich viele. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers ist sehr chic, es gibt einen TV und eine Minibar sowie ein großes Sofa. Der SPA-Bereich ist nach Auskunft meiner Mitreisenden sehr schön und ebenso mit Blick auf den Fluss. Zum See sind es nur wenige Schritte, dort gibt es auch ein paar Eisschlitten. Das Essen im Restaurant war ordentlich, ebenso das Frühstücksbuffet. Im Hotel wohnen auch Handwerker auf Montage. Für zwei Nächte durchaus zu empfehlen.
