Cruising on the Nile is amazing - the views and sights are stunning.
The Jaz Crown Prince is however past it's prime and getting quite tired. Still for the price we paid of about £110 a night for a cabin for one person it was well worth a few frayed edges.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was plentiful if a bit unexciting. Getting used to public smoking on the top deck was not much fun. Perhaps other ships don't allow this as it really is unpleasant for non smokers.
The one very irritating thing is the location we were told to go to in order to board the ship right in Luxor town centre was incorrect.
The ship was actually docked about 12k south of town. This was very frustrating as no one seemed to have any clue where to find the ship. But the Trip support chat managed to find out the correct location we just wasted a lot of time and energy getting there and ended up in the worst taxi ever trying to get there.
