The map of the Trip.com is wrong. It's NOT ON the Khaled Ibn El Walid Street. First, look for the location shown as the photos below. Go to El Horeya Street From Khaled Ibn El Walid Street. You can see the hotel on your left. Hotel Staffs are so friendly and kind. After I entered a hotel room, there was a phone from the front if I need anything. Breakfast is good.

We had a small issue with the AC when we arrived, but it was quickly resolved. The hotel itself is beautifully located and has a charming atmosphere with historical touches in its decoration. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the manager in particular is a kind and genuine person – it was a pleasure speaking with him. The hotel also offers excellent services. I asked about a river boat ride with dinner, and they organized everything for us: comfortable coach pickup and a private boat with dinner. It was a truly romantic experience and very well arranged. We had also a great massage in the spa and a pedicure. Special thanks for Sabah, a very kind lady. Overall, a wonderful stay with great service and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

The hotel and staff are accommodating. The room is clean and quiet. However, the air conditioning in the room is not cold, and I feel warm in my bed, making it hard for me to sleep.

Excellent hotel with great amenities. The room was clean and very good sized. The bathroom was also clean. We had the breakfast once and it was decent- a live egg station and a large variety of baked stuff, fruits, etc. However, the hotel had an issue with their water supply. One staff mentioned it was a problem with their water pump and another staff mentioned that it was a general issue in Luxor- I am not sure which is the accurate reason. They did provide water bottles as a substitution to the lack of water and opened up the spa on the mezzanine for showers. We had a 5:30am departure from the hotel so went to take a shower at 3:30 am after confirming with the reception. There was no staff at the spa and I had to figure out which shower to use and find my own set of towels. The least expectation during an issue like this would be to staff the spa and help guests out.

The hotel is a large, stand-alone white building near the Nile River in Luxor. It's in a great location, not far from Karnak Temple. Downstairs is a small supermarket frequented by locals, and the prices aren't too high. A chocolate croissant costs 15 Egyptian pounds, and a 1.5L bottle of Nestle water is 9 Egyptian pounds, making it a great place to grab a bite to eat. The room was spacious. The bedsheets weren't exactly new and a bit pilled, but otherwise clean. When I first checked in, I was given the last room in 501, but I moved to 510, which is a bit less remote. The air conditioner was a bit old and noisy, but it was manageable with earplugs. There were two bottles of water in the room, but no disposable slippers, toothbrushes, or water bottles. The shampoo and shower gel came in small bottles without foil seals, suggesting they weren't replaced every time the room was cleaned. There was also some shampoo residue on the surface of the bottles. The hot water had good pressure, and it was hot at night and lukewarm in the morning. On the morning of August 1, 2025, there was loud construction noise across from my room starting at around 5 or 6 AM. The hotel's soundproofing isn't particularly good, and it can be quite noisy and waking people up. Travelers arriving soon should be aware of this. The hotel front desk offers free luggage storage, which is perfect for those heading to the Valley of the Kings that morning and then returning to the hotel before leaving Luxor. I missed the 2:35 PM go bus and had to take the 7:35 PM bus to Hurghada. I spent a few hours in the hotel lobby's sofa area. I felt the overall service quality was quite high, and the staff's attitude and manners were impeccable. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for the price in Luxor. There are some minor details that aren't quite right, but I didn't encounter any major issues. I often travel alone, so I always bring my own disposable face towels, toothbrush, small toiletries, and Crocs. I recommend everyone traveling to Egypt to bring these items.

What is a river view room? Where is the river view? Can you see the river? What I saw were trees, construction sites, buildings, and rooftops. They said they had coordinated to change my room, but I went to the hotel front desk to fight for it. Besides, when did we change the room? It was 8 o'clock in the evening, and it was dark. How could we see the river view after changing the room? This is the fifth floor, and the highest room is on the sixth floor. What's the difference? The sound insulation is very poor, and it's no different from sleeping on the main road. The staff are like wood. They said they were full, but in fact there were few people staying. There was no one in the restaurant and the lobby. And this hotel has no wifi signal, and I have been using my own data. It is not a new building, but an old building that has been renovated. Many places are very old, such as the sockets, which are not firmly plugged in. The breakfast room is very small, and there is nothing to eat. Among the seven hotels I have stayed in Egypt, this one is the worst, with no advantages!
