Hotels near Wrest Park in Luton

I really enjoyed staying here with my work, I have stayed before but since the renovations the hotel really is beautiful now. I used the restaurant too and the food was great, the setting peaceful and the staff very good. I was served by someone called Candice (I think that was her name who was excellent). I have attached some photos of the food. Also if you’re away with work and also a cyclist, try and take your bike too as there are some lovely early morning river paths to cycle which start just outside the hotel. Perfect!

We very much enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel. We were a family of 3 and shared a room. The staff were very welcoming and efficient on the front desk when we checked in. Once in the room we were very pleasantly surprised to see how good the pull out bed was for my eldest son. In fact it was a double sofa bed. It was very sturdy and had a very decent mattress on it ( unlike other top rated hotels we have stayed at ). The room was clean and had everything you might need , including iron and ironing board as standard. Breakfast was a tasty affair and staff were constantly replenishing items as they ran down. All staff very friendly and overall a great stay for a super price. Will definitely stay here again when we are visiting family again.

Great staff and lovely comfy room with nice extra amenities for my All Accor level. Breakfast also great. Couple of issues- ( very old) safe in room did not work. Also nail clippings on carpet! Hermis from front desk did a brilliant job of emergency hovering. Mehar also kindly gave me a late check out.

Great hotel. We were in MK for a scrabble tourney and we chose this hotel as it had ground floor rooms with walk in showers. Decor throughout was spotless and everywhere we went, I saw staff picking up small bits of litter etc. There was a wedding on Thursday night when we arrived but the bar food was fine,and it appeared that any overnight wedding guests were sleeping in a different area to us, so everyone was happy . Front of house staff were friendly and courteous, as were the bar and restaurant staff. We often stay at MK Central hotel also for scrabble and that is great too. But what was noticeable at this hotel is that it’s clearly aimed at families and couples, whilst the other is more corporate.. and that’s fine too.. different hotels for different clientele. We loved the bar furniture here.. big comfy armchairs. And the QUALITY of the food served was superb.. rarely would I have any sort of cooked breakfast for 4 days on the trot. But here, I had one slice of bread, 2 bacon( crisped to order) and 2 different sausages , to make my open breakfast sarnie! The staff were all phenomenal, especially the bar lady who worked Saturday and Sunday night , who had my Pinot Grigio ready to go after 13 hours scrabbling! Loved the hotel, loved the food, and your staff are exceptional! My ONLY recommendations on leaving were, please get some nonslip mats in for the showers , ( even on a request basis) as the there is a drop of about 5” from the shower to the floor, and related to that, for us tottery oldies, a grab handle to assist that drop.. neither of these are criticisms.. they are purely suggestions to make a great service even better!

I needed somewhere reasonably priced as I was in Bedford for an early appointment. I found it on a 3rd party booking platform and booked as it has good reviews, I didn't even think to check tripadvisor, until the day before check in and by then it was too late to cancel after reading all the poor reviews on here. Anyway, we arrived and the parking is plentiful. A few disabled bays. The lobby is very nice, and clean. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. We requested something not too far away (from the reviews on here), and they obliged. We didn't have breakfast here as it is rather expensive...£15 per person. They do buffet dinner too and that's not cheap either...about £25 or 30 per person. We decided to get takeaway delivery instead. The room is a bit small for two people, but fine for one. It was OK though for one night. I'd stay here again should I come to Bedford again.

Located on the Cranfield University campus, this is an excellent, well planned, cleaned facility. I was impressed by the attention to detail. Pleasant room, with everything you could want: TV, Tea & Coffee facilities; Good WiFi, Comfortable bed, Hot & powerful shower, Luggage rack, Hairdryer, Iron & ironing boad, even a box of tissues.

Stayed here for family function and had three rooms Staff were really helpful and friendly and gave us adjoining rooms in the extension. These rooms appeared new and were in excellent condition Three minor points The hotel was very busy being half term and the staff were so busy checking in guests that service at the bar was unavoidably slow in the late afternoon The car park is quite large but the harvester opposite is so busy when we got back we had to park at the far end which if you had luggage would be inconvenient.I was able to move the car in the morning Lastly like all expresses the breakfast quality is something of a lottery.on this occasion the coffee were better than usual express standard but bacon and egg were disappointing Generally however well above average for this brand
