"It is a resort hotel transformed from a villa in the past. On a small mountainside, the environment is quiet, the room is clean and comfortable, the staff is warm when arriving at the store, and we also sent us a small gift of Lushan specialty when leaving the store. 🎁! Breakfast can be delicious and full, and the parking space in the courtyard is spacious. It is very convenient to go to the mountains, go shopping, eat, go to Guling Town, Ruqin Lake and Xianren Cave. The pictures are taken within 1000 meters of the hotel. Worth coming again."

"From the moment I arrived at this boutique hotel in Lushan, I was enveloped in a wonderful sense of warmth. The seasonal fresh fruit offered by the welcoming staff instantly melted away the exhaustion from the mountain drive. The pre-booked transfer service was incredibly thoughtful and well-executed; our driver knew the mountain roads intimately, chatting about the local scenery and feeling more like a personal guide than just a ride.
Upon check-out, I received a delightful souvenir: a thermal mug subtly engraved with Lushan cloud patterns and a Lushan tea cake. The mug felt pleasantly warm in my hand. The room itself was an even greater delight. The bedding was perfectly balanced in softness and firmness, feeling like sleeping on a cloud. Listening to the gentle mountain breeze at night, I slept incredibly deeply. Waking up, I used the thermal mug to brew some of the hotel's Yunwu tea. With each sip, the fragrant tea, coupled with its warmth, made even the morning light filtering through the window feel softer. This meticulous attention to detail truly weaves comfort into every aspect of the experience."

"The hotel offers convenient pickup and drop-off services at both the Lushan Cableway Upper Station and Guling Town, Lushan. When heading out to explore the attractions, there are regular shuttle buses every hour or half-hour from the scenic area's designated stops, which is incredibly convenient, reassuring, and thoughtfully arranged.
The hotel boasts stunning sunset views. You can take a short walk down to Baiyun Valley for a closer look or simply enjoy them from the hotel's fish pond.
The room was clean, and the bedding was dry and comfortable. A particularly thoughtful touch was the daily provision of foot bath tubs and hot water, perfect for soaking tired feet after a long day of sightseeing and relieving fatigue. They also offered complimentary milk, snacks, and fruit beverages.
While individual room amenities, such as the smart toilet, were quite good, I believe there's room for improvement in the overall comfort and practicality of the hardware. For instance, the marble shelf in the shower, intended for toiletries, was concave in the middle. This meant the hotel's small bottles of toiletries and my own had to be propped against the edge or laid flat. The smart toilet, though high-tech, was a bit startling at times; it would automatically open and close its lid when the room card was inserted or when I approached to use the trash bin. 😜
On the third day of our stay, we returned to the room in the evening to find no complimentary drinking water and had to request it from a staff member. Additionally, the foot bath water in the thermos was scalding hot, despite the cap indicating 'comfortable water temperature.' Thankfully, I'm usually cautious and tested the water first, preventing a burn. I suggest more attention to these minor details for improvement."

"The sunrise in this viewing room is absolutely beautiful. You can see such a beautiful sunrise without leaving the room. In addition to the beautiful scenery in the distance (the close-up view still needs to be taken care of, the surrounding area feels a bit messy during the day) the water here is mountain spring water, and the entrance feels really good and a bit sweet, but it still feels a bit awkward to collect water from the washbasin. There is a tea set in the room, but there is no socket. It can only be regarded as a decoration. In addition, I think we can provide simple noodles or something for breakfast. I stayed in a B&B in Dali before. The breakfast was simple but the details were in place. You can refer to it. I hope it will get better and better!"

The fog was heavy and the air was wet and cold on the day. When I arrived, I immediately sent herbal tea to the cold; a free fruit platter was provided every night. The room is 34-36 square meters, 2 floors, clean and tidy, comfortable mattress, large room space, toilet and bathroom dry and wet separation, shower water flow, sufficient hot water, sewer smooth no smell, the most valuable mention is: the toilet exhaust system is good.

DDanbixieyanyunLocation & Transportation: The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right next to the lower cable car station exit. It's literally less than a minute's walk, right next door.
Service: The service was excellent. After booking, I contacted them in advance, and the manager who answered the phone was incredibly enthusiastic and friendly, making me feel very welcome. They even proactively added me on WeChat to answer all my questions. Upon checkout, they gifted us with a tea cake and some tea leaves.
Room View: Our booked room received a complimentary upgrade to one with a sofa. The floor-to-ceiling window offered a view directly onto a bustling street, with a bus stop, ferry terminal, and even a fire station visible below.
Hygiene: Average. There were mosquitoes in the room.
Restaurant: The restaurant seems to be outsourced and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The owner was very hospitable and even advised us that two dishes would be sufficient for two people. The prices were reasonable.
Room Facilities: Overall, the facilities were a bit lacking. For example, the washing machine and dryer in the laundry room looked very dirty. The outdated facilities are definitely my main complaint about this hotel.
Value for Money: The upgraded room, priced over 600 (on Ctrip), felt quite expensive, especially considering a standard room is over 300, and adding breakfast pushes it to over 400. It's definitely overpriced!!

Rroji188Facilities: The room was clean and the bedding was nice. Although not large, the room didn't feel cramped. However, there was a minor issue with the soundproofing of the room door; any noise from the corridor was clearly audible.
Environment: Lushan truly lives up to its reputation as a perfect summer escape, staying cool even in summer. The hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, surrounded by lush and beautiful forests.
Breakfast: The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious.
Service: I'd like to give a special shout-out to the excellent service. The shuttle driver was incredibly enthusiastic, introducing us to Lushan's attractions and history throughout the journey. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and even escorted us to our room.
Other: If you're not planning to visit many attractions, you might consider skipping the scenic area shuttle. Taxis from the hotel to places like the museum are metered and only cost a little over ten RMB, which is a more economical option.

LLeesa DaviesWe liked the nostalgic feel of the hotel. It makes you feel like you have gone back in time. The room is a little bit dated (shower screens need some attention), however it still had that touch of class. The front steps are a killer, however there is a lift to bring you up the level of the hotel, so we didn't have to worry about bringing our heavy suitcases up the many steps. There is a bus station almost out the front of the hotel to tour the mountains many scenic areas. It is not in the shopping area of Kuling Street, but it's an easy bus ride to visit this area. We liked that there are a few restaurants, cafes and convenience stores close to the hotel as well. We were not able to use our foreign credit card and as we could not use WeChat pay, we needed to find another way to pay for the room with assistance from family with a Chinese bank account. I think it was because it is not part of a large chain of hotels and is in a relatively remote area. But overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Ruqin Lake, one of the most convenient hotels on the west line. On a clear morning, I walked from the plank road of Ruqin Lake and the scenery was great. After the west line tour, walk from the dam power station to Sanbaoshu, and then go directly to the east line of Lulin Lake parking lot, which saves time.

TTimor0513Facilities: The overall design of Songmo is very good, and there are more leisure areas in the next building. It is very photogenic. It is cold in winter, and the outdoor leisure area is probably very comfortable in summer. However, many facilities and equipment in the room have bugs. For example, the glass door between the toilet and the bathroom is usually pulled up and the other side will be wide open, and the toilet has no exhaust, which is very embarrassing. The small refrigerator is actually in the closet. Who would have thought? The small refrigerator will fight with the closet when it is opened. But the bathtub is very suitable for girls! Just the right size. The toiletries box looks quite design-oriented, but why should it be glued with transparent sealant? It took a long time to buckle it 😂. The toothbrush bristles are very hard, and it bleeds when you brush it. It is recommended to change the supplier of consumables. There is no main light in the room, it is a bit dark, and the overall space of Songtao room is not very large. The view on the lower floors will be better.
Service: The service is worthy of praise. The Subaru driver is very enthusiastic. He picked up and dropped us off many times and explained it to us. The housekeeper is also good. There will be a housekeeper to greet you when you get off the car and send you to the room. But there was a girl at the front desk who was really unenthusiastic. She contacted us before check-in. We arrived at around 1pm, and she didn't tell us in advance that the room was not ready. She said that we could check in at 2pm, but this was flexible. She told us in advance that we could have lunch directly on the main street and then go to the hotel to handle the formalities. After checking in at the front desk, she just said that the room was not ready and nothing happened. She didn't introduce us to the spatial structure of the homestay, or the origin and culture of the homestay and surrounding buildings. We learned about it later through the driver. It is recommended that we go for training again. It's really a bit lacking.
Catering: Breakfast is buffet style, and the egg meat pie soup and fried noodles with Jiangxi characteristics are quite good, but because of the weather, it gets cold quickly.
It should also be a good choice for family travel. If we come again next time, we should choose Songmo for the environment. Compared with another homestay with a lot of wind, at least the hardware facilities are good. The front desk service needs to be improved
