We discovered this place by accident with my husband in 2019 travelling on the great North Road. We needed some rest before onward journey The rooms were fab,bed soft with a lot of pillows and cushions which were not necessary .The shower was ok. There was no internet very annoying considering the prises you pay. The place is green and lovely grounds. Nice shrubs and trees around and grass . First time were were impressed and then we came with friends for a meal Zambian tradition which we enjoyed . The service is not that good staff are not as friendly especially kitchen staff. Third time we spent a night in the newly added rooms which was fantastic. I liked the bigger room and the furniture. The bathrooms could be cleaner. There was no bath liquid.they had flip flop for the shower but of different make and size really. I don’t take tea or coffee so requested for hot chocolate sachet from staff. This took forever to come and when it did it had pinned tipped from a bigger container into a cup not covered . Din’t mind that though We had a good night sleep the bed was soft and clean linen. Breakfast time , this is where I give them 3 stars because it’s a joke ( we had paid for a room with continental breakfast after a long flight we needed good food prior to onward journey. A slice of white bread ,white cornflakes and coffee or tea in a small bowl on the table and no one came to ask us for anything until we called to ask if that was breakfast and again needed hot chocolate. This time were were told no what is on the table is what you have. I would recommend a stop over for a night’s rest if you you travelling further great north road,but have breakfast somewhere. Please improve on your hostess staff in the kitchen and breakfast menu.
