A good hotel, one of the symbols of the new Doha. Hotel Raffles occupies one half of the building, in the other Hotel Fairmont. Everything in the hotel is very beautiful and at a high level. The location, in my opinion, is not the most convenient, but the Karwa taxi service works well and this is not a problem.
The only complaint is the immature service:
1. upon check-in, the room was not ready and we had to wait a little. At the same time, all the information and the procedure for further actions had to be asked ourselves, since the staff was simply silent. We asked to be informed about the readiness of the room and went to swim in the pool, but no one said anything. We found out again on our own.
2. In the room there was a misunderstanding with an extra bed for a child and again they did not tell us anything, and after my questions they advised us to check the hotel reservation. Why should they check if I already know everything and it is the hotel that should resolve its issue?!
3. The glass partition on the large balcony is very dirty! You can see in the photo, although in reality it looks even worse.
this is despite the fact that the hotel is perfectly clean everywhere except this moment! At the same time, all the rooms have very dirty glass on the balconies. I don't understand the reason, no one explained anything. The hotel is suitable for 1-2 nights. Everything is beautiful in Arabic style. But something needs to be done with the service, it is not at a high level for such a hotel.
