I drove to Luoyang and arrived at Motel 1696, exhausted. I originally booked a twin room, but as I arrived early, only king-size rooms were available. The front desk helped me change it to a king-size room to rest. The hotel is easy to find, with smart toilets and voice systems full of fashion sense 👍 Dry and wet separated toilets and balconies. Very convenient! It is also very convenient to the scenic area. Parking is downstairs for self-driving, which is pretty good If you don’t want to go out, the takeaway is delivered quickly 👍 Recommended to everyone 🌹The hotel breakfast is also good

The hotel is difficult to book at a standard rate during the National Holiday, but the service from 小樊 is excellent. He tried his best to accommodate us and even upgraded our room the first night. We’re very grateful for 小樊 for making our over all experience better.

Before checking in, the hotel manager Bai Junyi prepared for the guests in advance. The hotel also provided a shuttle from Luoyang Longmen High-speed Railway Station to the hotel, giving guests the greatest convenience. Every department and every employee of the hotel is particularly conscientious, from getting off the car and opening the door to every step of the hotel, including checking whether the room is missing after leaving the hotel, they are all in place! The hotel has a super variety of breakfasts, which makes you unable to choose. It is suitable for guests of all tastes and requirements. The beef soup is authentic, and the beef is unlimited. I think I don’t need to go to a small shop outside to eat beef soup. If I want to go to Luoyang again, maybe it’s because I still want to stay in this hotel.

This is really a hotel worthy of praise and recommendation. In addition to some regular services, it also provides free pick-up and drop-off stations. The service of this hotel is not just to solve the problems or requests you raise, but also to take the initiative to pay attention to what needs the guests may have. Seeing that you are wearing glasses, they will give you a lens cloth. Seeing that you like to make tea in the room, they will give you 2L of Yibao. When you are having breakfast and find that you don’t have anything to drink, they will come over and ask you if you want something to drink and then bring it to you. After checking in, they will put your ID card in a card holder and hand it to you. This hotel is really attentive to the details of the service. I have stayed in many mid- to high-end hotels, and Christine is the first one with such attentive service. The dust cover of their wine glasses says ”Specialized perfection, almost demanding”. They really do this. I am very glad that I chose Christine among so many hotels in Luoyang. Next time I come to Luoyang, I will still choose here!

Location very near metro so convenient to move around. Not many shops around, more for business stay. Front office staffs are friendly and willing to help. However, room carpet need to change/upgrade, too dated same for bathroom.

The room was perfect, reception was friendly and helpful, the boy in the lobby was my life saver, he did help me with the deliveries while the APP was full of Chinese which is a totally disaster for me. Great hotel anyways, definitely will come back in the future!

Pros: 1) very friendly and accommodating front desk, they gave us extra water bottles, gave recommendations for restaurants, and responded quickly to my questions on wechat 2) great location 3) clean rooms 4) pretty good selection for breakfast 5) stored our luggage for free 6) they gave us some snacks as gifts when we checked out Cons: 1) our rooms weren't ready for check in when we arrived even though their check-in time is advertised as noon (but it's because their checkout time is at 2pm, so if the previous guest hasn't checked out before noon, it is impossible to get your room at noon); but they can store your luggage for you at the front desk so it is a minor problem if you don't need a room right away 2) there was construction work at the front entrance of the hotel, so we had to walk through a bunch of debris and loud noises; this shouldn't be a problem once the construction work is done, but it was still a surprise for me Overall, the place is great for the price, location, and service.

The location of this place is close to center and MRT. We can go to attractive places easily. The cleanliness and amenities are perfect. Breakfast is quite good compare with price. The staff are very kind and helpfull even they can't speak english but they use google translate to communicate. I strongly recommend this hotel

This is a very nice hotel which is great value for money. The location is great, just around the corner from a large mall (Wangfujing) and lots of restaurants nearby. I especially recommend the little place with 'Chinese Hamburger' on the sign on the road behind the hotel building - they have an English menu and do great roujiamo - they even have a vegetarian 'sujiamo'! We got an upgrade on check in and the room was spacious and comfortable. The cleaners and reception staff were generally polite and helpful. The breakfast was Chinese but was fresh, different every day, and any food that ran out at busy times was always quickly replenished. The free laundry was very convenient and the machines were easy to use. We did have two issues which made staying there a bit inconvenient though. The first was that when the underground car park was full cars could no longer get past the barrier, meaning they couldn't drive up to reception. This was a problem since the road outside was flooded and meant that we had to load and unload suitcases while standing in deep puddles in the pouring rain. The second issue was the keycards: every day we would come back to our room and the keycard wouldn't work. We complained at reception every single day about this issue but it was never resolved.

Before coming have added them in WECHAT which they have provided all the information needed. Excellent service from the reception especially the lady Ms 孙 she is awesome and have full knowledge about the Longmen grotto. She has explained every details like which bus to take which station to stop so that you don't walk the longer way. She even explained the sequence of walking so that you will not missed the important part. Very very patience lady.
