Rezen Hotel Wuduo

This hotel is amazing good and the staffs are very polite. The housekeeping name “叶子” well take care of customers need. She observed and provide excellent service to customers. Front desk service is very good especially we want to visit the city. Clear explanation and tourist information.

Upon arriving the hotel the checking took over 15 mins. As for foreigner they need to photo copy passports and input information manually. The air conditioner was very weak and only couple of degree lower than the outside at 85 degrees Fahrenheit, very warm. Our room all had an odor that we couldn’t pin point. But no Pleasant, and would only subside after lowering the room temperature to 23 Celsius. Second day of our day I realize that my retainer was missing from my case and looks everywhere inside my room and later notified the front desk of the missing item. They denied ever touching my case and insisted that I have misplaced my own item. Long story short it’s still missing.

This is a very nice hotel which is great value for money. The location is great, just around the corner from a large mall (Wangfujing) and lots of restaurants nearby. I especially recommend the little place with 'Chinese Hamburger' on the sign on the road behind the hotel building - they have an English menu and do great roujiamo - they even have a vegetarian 'sujiamo'! We got an upgrade on check in and the room was spacious and comfortable. The cleaners and reception staff were generally polite and helpful. The breakfast was Chinese but was fresh, different every day, and any food that ran out at busy times was always quickly replenished. The free laundry was very convenient and the machines were easy to use. We did have two issues which made staying there a bit inconvenient though. The first was that when the underground car park was full cars could no longer get past the barrier, meaning they couldn't drive up to reception. This was a problem since the road outside was flooded and meant that we had to load and unload suitcases while standing in deep puddles in the pouring rain. The second issue was the keycards: every day we would come back to our room and the keycard wouldn't work. We complained at reception every single day about this issue but it was never resolved.
