Pros&Cons :
Location is within Luoyi Ancient City. Although it is nearer to the north gate it felt like the same as from the south gate. There is no direct vehicle access into the tourist place (景区). Be prepared to walk about 500m with your baggage or call in advance to the hotel for assistance.
The reception lobby is 2nd level, unfortunately the escalatilor from street level wasn't working. But thanks to good service staff like XiaoShi(小石), he was helpful in bringing the baggage up. Outside the lobby were a few peacocks which were pleasing to the eyes.
The package came with tea snacks, breakfast and a 3 hr experience with Hanfu （汉服体验）which is like cosplay where you dressed up in traditional chinese outfits and take photos in the ancient city.
So that's great value.
Special shout out to Xiaoshi who asked a few times if there's anything he could be of service.
Overall a comfortable spot for cultural immersion.

After entering the scenic spot, we walked to the hotel for about 10 minutes. We rushed over from Shaolin Temple at 5 o'clock. After checking in, we went to party with local friends and didn't return to the hotel until 10:30. The scenic spot was almost closed, so I sent my drunken husband back to the room to rest. My daughter and I went downstairs and found that the lights in the scenic area were turned off. Traveling in twos and threes, we squeezed in and took pictures at the only one or two light scenes. We took a walk in the hotel. The node design and scenery were fresh and elegant, which was considered as a check-in in the ancient city. By the way, I like the sheltered bamboo view outside the room. There are also several outdoor seats. It’s great to have barbecue and beer here!

The layout of the hotel is very novel and beautiful, with Chinese-style landscaping everywhere. Located in the Luoyi Ancient City Scenic Area, you can stroll around the ancient city at night. I waited for nearly an hour when I entered the underground parking lot in the afternoon. It was not the hotel's problem. The hotel's service is very friendly.
