JI Hotel (Luoyang Longmen Zhan Qian Guangchang)

The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station, making it a good option for travelers who are just passing through. However, it’s not ideal for those planning to explore Luoyang, as it’s quite far from the city center and main attractions. The reception staff does not speak English, which can make communication a bit challenging. Although they advertise free transport to the train station, it was not provided when we requested it. Aside from these points, everything else was fine and the stay was comfortable.

Very clean and bright room/hotel. Spacious relative to the cost. Has automatic warming toilet seats. Shower pressure and temperature is consistent. They give you 6 bottles of water, so I never had to look for more. Note that if you're a family staying in multiple rooms, they only give you one keycard and the doors beep if the door isn't fully closed. If you slowly let the door close until it just touches the door frame, you may be able to bypass the beeping after a few attempts. About a 7 minute walk from Luoyang Longmen Railway station, which is handy if you're only in the area for a day. A bus loop that services a few lines is also just 2 minutes away if you're not going to use the cheap taxi/didi service. There's a sign for the hotel once you're near the area.
